Love this place!! The communication was exceptional! The Bar across the street had the best Bartender and wait staff. The house is super close to Ober Tram on the strip making this place ideal during the winter when you don't want to drive on the icy roads. We got stuck an extra day due to weather and the owner was more than compensating. This is definitely our new go to for the winter trips!

The location and space was great, we had a great time with the whole family there. Six adults and two 1year old babies. The friendly neighborhood bear(Freddy) was a fun treat to have around every night. Gave us the full Gatlinburg experience. Only things that would of made this place 5 stars for us was to have extra blankets to use in the living room. Enough outlets for everyone to use their recliners, one set of outlets for 4 recliners. And a better stocked kitchen- specifically a larger skillet and a spatula would of been nice to have.

We enjoyed the cabin and the Timber bar on the property. The staff was friendly and attentive.The cabin could use some updates and a little TLC. But, overall it was very spacious, had more than enough amenities to satisfy us. It is close enough to Gatlinburg to walk, approximately a quarter-mile walk. The walk back after dark was not well lit, but the flashlight on our phones was enough. We will definitely stay here again!

Check-in was easy. The home was very comfortable and roomy for our family of 6. We loved the cool architecture and the furnishings were functional as well as attractive. Everything worked great : kitchen, bathrooms, ac, laundry, WiFi. The pool table and hot tub were perfect for relaxing downtime between adventures. Parking on the property was plentiful and the location was easily walkable to the main strip in Gatlinburg which was a huge bonus. Our only concern was that WiFi was not password protected so I stuck with my cellular, just in case.

Overall a great experience. There was a couple things I wished were different. I know it’s a rental but the pool table and foosball are a big part of the stay with kids and the pool sticks needed retipped and there was no ball for foosball.

Great Location, home left a lot to be desired

We loved the location and proximity to Gatlinburg. As in the listing description, you do get Dollywood tickets, but it is only for one ticket, per attraction per day. Still a nice 82 savings but a little misleading. Home was adequate and fit our needs for a group of 7 looking for a decently priced place near Gatlinburg. However, the cleanliness left a lot to be desired. There was visible mold on the living room ceiling and exposed wires in one of the bedrooms, huge safety hazard. Furniture was old, trim pieces missing everywhere, just not super well kept. Was it fine for a few days, sure. Would I rent there again, definitely not.

Needs renovating

Overall, the property was very run down. It was located close to downtown Gatlinburg. However, it needs new furniture, had mold issues, a loud HVAC system, the dishwasher overheats and is a fire threat. Great location but poorly Maintained.

Perfect location for a quick trip with college kids

Although my husband complained about the hill up to the house from the downtown area, we were very happy with the property, location and price. Quick responses from owner on a few questions. Home reminded us of someplace in the U.P. The construction others commented on has been completed so no issues with that.

Has potential but needs some love.

It is walking distance but it’s on quite a hill. The pool table is honestly a safety hazard & propped up with an old paper plate. We didn’t even play on it bc it’s so unstable it was concerning. The fooseball table is about the same condition. Most players missing their head and one is black taped back to the pole. The ball return is broke and a piece of cardboard is taped under the table you can reach up inside to get the ball & propped up with a couple books
. The dishes were absolutely disgusting. The hot tub is lovely and seems clean but the hot tub area locks from the outside so anyone can come in from the road if they want & the fence is kind of falling off on the other side. The extension cord for the hot tub are lights is falling apart & random switch plates left unwired. The cleaning is also unimpressive 
 none of our party has long grey hair but our floors certainly did. The furnace sounds like a jet engine but it was loud enough to drown out the living room noise into the bedroom since there’s a big opening at the top of the wall between the rooms. Beds were very comfortable tho & I’m a loud white noise person so I slept well. The fire places are also both welded shut, curtains are missing & smoke detectors are missing.

Dog friendly, lots of space

Overall the property was great for our needs. Bedrooms spacious. Common area(s) very spacious. It is dated and bathrooms are small w little to no counter space. Neither of these made me or my group lose any sleep. It is walkable to downtown but if you are walking back to the cabin at night-no sidewalks or lighting and you have to walk on the road. We walked both days, even so far as to walk all the way to the anakeesta lifts. The owners were very upfront about the construction around the cabin so I have no complaints there. Owners very easy and quick to communicate with. The back deck and hot tub was lovely.
