Honey Bee Hideaway 7 minute drive to Anakeesta, the Aquarium, and all of Downtown Gatlinburg. Enjoy local restaurants for mouthwatering BBQ, pancakes and other local favorites all along the Parkway. Our 2 Bedroom 1 Bathroom cabin sleeps 4 guest and has 2 queen beds! This is the perfect getaway for you and you family!

Friends weekend getaway

It’s was great. Our friends had never been to gatlinburg so the location was great close to town but still fairly secluded. Got to meet the neighborhood black bear. Great time 👍

Nestled where?

Nestled in the woods, yes. Cute house with nice deck, yes. Nicely furnished kitchen, linens and bath, yes. Walking distance to town, no. Walking distance to trolley stop, no. Amusement park almost at backyard door, yes. Would stay here again, yes.

Loved our stay

We loved this property. The only downside was it was not in walking distance to anything you definitely have to drive
 Maybe we just read things wrong or there was a typo, but we were assuming it was in walking distance and when we clicked on the maps it doesn’t take you to the house so you’ll have to type in the actual address. The road was really scary. And the house next-door is currently under construction so a lot of times the road was blocked the way we would drive and we had to go the opposite direction. The house itself was lovely. The hot tub is super nice and we saw a few bears!! it was the perfect spot for our little family!!

We just spent five wonderful nights at the cabin. It is clear that it has recently been remodeled, and the job was done well. Upon arrival, the cabin was exceptionally clean, with ample towels and other starter supplies. The kitchen is well equipped with nicer items that I often find in a rental. We had a great time and saw 15 bears during our stay. All but three were seen around the cabin.

Awesome cabin!

We really enjoyed staying at this cabin. The amenities were great and the cabin was very clean. Communication with the property manager was very good. We were having trouble with the hot tub and the property manager was there within 10 minutes to help us. The shower does not drain very fast but otherwise everything else was great! This cabin was the perfect size for our family of 3.

Bear Haven

We had a very pleasant stay at the sugar shack! We loved how close to town it was and the amenities provided like flashlights and a couple games. The only minor down sides were the beds were a little stiff and uncomfortable and the shower curtain is too long and would sit on the shower floor and collect water and dirt. Plus being on top of the mountain there wasn’t great water pressure but being in the mountains makes up for it! It was overall a pleasant stay!

Wonderful View

We absolutely loved our time at the Sugar Shack! It was beautiful and absolutely charming. It was very family friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed watching all the little animals off the back porch. We even saw a bear or two everyday we were there! Our girls absolutely loved watching the bears walking around the house!

Cozy Cabin

This was a wonderful property. Clean, spacious, just the right distance from town. Property seems to be well taken care of. We didnt use all the amenities but they have everything you need. Only thing I would want different is better mattresses, too hard. We will definitely be back and will try to book this cabin.

Cozy Home, Beautiful Views

My family and I had a wonderful stay at the Sugar Shack! It was a quick stop of just two nights, but we were greeted by the adorable family of bears to set the tone for the trip - they were so cute, and didn’t bother us as we didn’t bother them! The amenities were thoughtful and the home was very clean. Having coffee and water was a welcomed and unexpected touch, and very appreciated! Would definitely recommend this home to others. Thank you for helping us create some wonderful family memories!

What a Gem!

My boyfriend and I stayed at Sugar Shack for my birthday weekend, this cabin was such a gem! We had such an incredible experience staying here, we seen countless bear families and even a coyote, It felt beautiful to be so in tune with nature! The cabin itself is also Beautiful, clean and, modern. The hot tub was a plus it was very clean and spacious! Management is very responsive and friendly, needless to say we will be back <3

Family Fun TIme!

Quick stay with our son. This cabin is so cute, and we loved the outdoor deck during the day and the hot tub at night when our son was tucked away in bed. Gatlinburg is beautiful, and this cabin is in the mountains, surrounded by trees, and it came with its own little bear family. Our son loved seeing them. We visited Anakeesta and Dollywood, both so close The cabin is comfortable and private, really great for a family our size. And thank you to the staff for making our wedding anniversary so special. Can't wait to come again!

Sugar Shack is Gem!

The Sugar Shack is exactly as you see it in the photos. Very nice, cozy and comfortable. Beautiful wood and fixtures, lovely and well-equipped kitchen. The fireplace added nice ambiance, and the hot tub was a bonus after spending all day on our feet. Another bonus that is not easy to find is some 'green space' in the form of a side yard. We felt right at home and relaxed the moment we arrived. Communication with management was always prompt. The location is great as well, just a short distance from town. I would definitely stay again, and recommend the Sugar Shack to you! You won't be disappointed!! Thank you ALM for a wonderful, relaxing trip.
