Loved this little place which is situated between the main road and the Yellowstone River. You can walk right down to the river and watch the elk. Very clean and comfortable. It is a wonderful add to a Yellowstone experience.

The place is close to north entrance which is great. It was difficult to find the entrance as the photos do not show the entry door. It is right above the garage and accessible from the small staircase located on road before you turn towards the garage. We found the place by searching for wifi name as there is no network in the area. Pros: clean place, location, kitchen and lots of utensils to cook. Cons: bathroom is clean but shower is tiny, the sofa bed is located right below the air conditioner and is not comfortable. Overall, I would recommend this place for 2 people stay only.

This is a wonderful spot! We were on our way home and it was a rainy day so we couldn’t take advantage of the great location. We did have a great dinner in Gardiner, and coffee the next morning before departure. Town is only a short drive away. Highly recommend this place!!

Yellowstone July 2025

My wife and I booked this property for our Yellowstone vacation stay. It worked perfect for us. The property is only about 5 miles from the north park entrance, it was very convenient. We really enjoyed seeing all of the elk in the immediate area of the property. We were very pleased with our stay. It was the perfect size for a couple needing a place to stay!

Slice of MT Heaven

Ridonculously clean inside, with lovely decorative touches. But it was the outside that captivates. That river valley setting. (!). I relished the privacy; the location, close enough to Gardiner & YS entrance, but a few miles away from tourist mayhem (lol). I'd book again.

Beautiful Inside snd Out!

The snow-capped mountains, the daily visits of pronghorns and geese with their goslings were absolutely delightful. The studio was also lovely and well-kept. The location was excellent! The only drawback was the restaurants with few healthy menu options. So, eat out, which is fun, but also keep a few fruits and veggies in your refrigerator.

Great getaway place

Great location couple miles from the Gardiner town center. Very peaceful. No cell service but good WiFi. Could use a dresser and some ice trays. Highly recommend if you're interested in Yellowstone.

Lovely Apartment in Idyllic Location!

We LOVED our stay in this quaint apartment that had everything we needed with the most beautiful scenery in the backyard! The apartment was spotless, linens were comfy and host was very responsive. We also fell in love with the town of Gardiner! So much wildlife & fun things to do!

We enjoyed our stay here. The location is right next to Yellowstone river and close to the north entrance of the Yellowstone National Park. While we weren't sure initially if the place would work for our family of four, it was just right because of the way it was set up. Highly recommend renting if you are on the fence

Family Gardiner retreat for North Yellowstone

Very relaxing and special!

This place was great. Small but clean and perfect for me, hubby, and 11 year old. The view and deck were spectacular with the private beach on river being my fave. I sat out there for hours every night and watched the sunset and passing storms. Every night a bald eagle hunted from the trees on their property and so much elk passing by and crossing the river. Thanks for the wonderful place to enjoy nature and relax.

Amazing

Everything went as advertised! Excellent views, and so close to the wildlife and Yellowstone. The apartment was updated, clean and well stocked with anything and everything we needed. Carmen has a very amazing place on her hands. Will book again!

Perfect Yellowstone Stay

Everything just as described. Great place to unwind after a busy day in the park. Had to decide each night whether to watch the sun go down from the deck or down by the riverbank. Deer and Elk in the field across the river as well as across the street.

A slice of Heaven

We’ve stayed in many VRBOs and this one tops the list. Carmen’s place is peaceful, well appointed and very comfortable! Such a fantastic setting to return to after epic hiking in the park. Gorgeous views of the river and mountains; watching elk herds on the range and Eagle sightings. Highly recommend!!

Anniversary at Yellowstone

Our visit to Yellowstone would not have been complete without this great studio apartment to rest at after visiting the park. The north entrance of Yellowstone and the town of Gardiner were only 5 minutes away. The accommodations were clean and well equipped with anything you would need. We also visited the Yellowstone Hot Springs which helped us after a 20000 step day at Yellowstone. Thank you so much Carmen for sharing your wonderful apartment.
