Welcome to the Turquoise Turtle which welcomes you to kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space - welcoming up to 4 guests to stay in the comfy queen private bedroom and true twin bunks built into the hallway alcove.The owners have overlooked NOTHING to provide for your comfort and convenience, and the views to the gulf through the palms, or to 2 of the 3 pools that the Maravilla has to offer cannot be beat!The balcony overlooks the tropical grounds to the west, the gulf to the south......

.....and 2 of the complex' 3 pools to the north. No matter which way you turn while sipping your coffee or a cocktail - the views are fantastic.

The kitchen is well equipped for your group whether you opt to eat at one of the hundreds of Galveston's spectacular restaurants and warm up your leftovers, or to dine in during your stay - or any combiination - your comfort is the owner's prime consideration when outfitting the property for your visit.

This includes comfortable mattresses on the bed in the bedroom as well as the bunkbeds in the hallway alcove - all the way to the barstools and living room furniture - you won't want to leave and that's ok too, because we look forward to your next visit almost as much as you do! The Turquoise Turtle will quickly become YOUR GALVESTON SPOT and you'll want to tell all your friends about it, too!

Some areas of the complex not affecting this condo or your stay may be under construction from time to time.

The Maravilla resort complex (not the owner or the manager) charges a parking/resort/amenities fee of $10 per vehicle per night to a maximum of $70 per month. This is paid to at the complex' office upon arrival and the staff will provide you with parking permit(s) as well as wristbands that identify you as registered guests at the property, and the codes to access the fitness room and aquatic areas. The complex also has pay per use laundry facilities and outdoor gaming activities like volleyball, cornhole, ping pong and more. There are BBQ areas dotting the pool areas for guest use as well.

My Galveston Getaway provides starter supplies of toiletries, paper products, dish cleaning options and coffee to get our guests started and situated before making their shopping lists and determining which shopping option works best for their group. These supplies are not intended to last your entire group the duration of your stay - but to get started!

We also provide one bath towel, hand towel and wash cloth for each guest that the unit sleeps, along with 2 dish towels. Should you wish to have additional housekeeping services during your stay or to have linen swaps during your stay, these can be arranged with advance notice upon request at an additional cost.

There is currently construction going on in one building of the complex. This does not affect the condo you are reserving from us or any of the amities of the complex.


After making your reservation you will receive a link to complete our renters agreement. The only information we request differently than the booking platforms (VRBO/AirBnB) is your personal email address, the names and ages of each person who will be in the property during your stay, and your driver’s license information as well as an emergency contact should we need to reach someone on your behalf. Thank you for completing this in a timely manner so that we may send you the check-in instructions for the property you have reserved.

Galveston is a barrier island in Texas located on the Gulf of Mexico. From time to time we have unexpected rain, thunderstorms, and sometimes we do have tropical storms and hurricanes. From time to time there may be brief interruptions in electricity and WiFi services due to weather. You should consider purchasing trip interruption or cancelation protection through the platforms or another source. We are unable to guarantee sunny days, mosquito free nights and perfect weather, nor do we refund for these possibilities. We issue refunds in the event of mandatory evacuations issued by a governmental agency, or for the property being unavailable due to damages and extended power outages.

For all reservations made directly through our website and through VRBO, there is a $300 security deposit “hold” required. You certainly can purchase trip cancellation/interruption coverage through those platforms as well if you so desire, this is a damage “deposit” hold. This is released once our housekeepers advise that the property has been left in the condition received with no damages occurring during your stay. This is not a charge, but a hold on the credit card on file with which the reservation is made. Should there be damages and they exceed $300 to repair or replace, you will be notified and asked to make arrangements to compensate for those items.

My Galveston Getaway cancellation policy: If your cancelation is received more than 30 days before your scheduled arrival date, there is a $100 cancelation fee, the remainder is refundable. If your reservation is cancelled 14-30 days prior to your scheduled arrival date there is a $100 cancelation fee, 50% of the remainder is refundable. If your cancelation is made between arrival and 13 days prior to your scheduled arrival date, there will be no refund issued.
