Welcome to your own historic hideaway in downtown Galveston– with lofted ceilings, original exposed brick walls and loads of natural light, Market Loft A is a pure delight. The primary bedroom features a king bed and private balcony, the second bedroom has a twin/full/queen bunk bed. Restaurants, bars and shops are a quick walk away. Whether you’re looking to spend time on The Strand, the beach, or a quick overnight before a cruise departure, this loft is the perfect home base for your trip. This is a historic building with early 20th century building materials and single-pane windows. Noise may be present.

● WINTER TEXAN RATE: Escape to the Texas Gulf Coast this winter! Ask about our reduced monthly rates October 1 - March 1.

● Location: Historic Downtown area of Galveston, Texas, half mile from the cruise ship terminal.

● Beach Access: Less than a 5 minute drive to the beaches at the Seawall.

● Rent BeachBox: Beach gear rentals are available! Ask us for details and rates.

● WIFI/Cable: We provide free high-speed WIFI and Roku with access to Sling TV for live television channels. Guests are welcome to log into their own streaming service apps.

● Pet Policy: 1 pet is allowed with a $25 fee per pet. Please keep pets off furniture, clean up after them outside, and crate them if left alone indoors.

● Parking: Free and paid street parking options on the streets surrounding the building.

Surveillance Camera: There is 1 camera on the exterior of the building overlooking the entrance. We have 2 cameras in the hallways leading to the apartment entrances.

House Rules:
- Guests must be 24+ to book the property.
- One-night stays must be approved.
- Groups larger than 5 need to be approved. We do not allow parties.
- Quiet hours are from 10pm-8am.
- Any damages to the house or property during your stay will result in a deduction or additional charge for the resulting repair/replacement cost.
- All pets must be approved by our team, stay off of all furniture, be cleaned up after, and not left alone inside the home unless in a kennel.
- No parking allowed on lawns, yards, empty grass lots or other neighbors’ driveways, even if their home appears unoccupied.
- Oversized vehicles/trailers are not permitted unless explicit approval has been received from our team.
- Do not turn the AC below 70 degrees. If you do, you will risk the AC unit freezing up, requiring it to thaw out which will result in the home getting extremely warm.
- Should an eviction occur due to breaking house rules (noise ordinance violations, excessive guests and/or vehicles beyond the agreed amount), there will be an $850 fine.

This property is in a great location and the loft apartment is so charming. Very nicely decorated and well supplied. The kitchen offered everything we needed, including a selection of spices and ground coffee, along with extra trash bags and dishwasher tabs. We enjoyed the spaciousness of all the rooms. The bed was really comfortable too. The small balcony off the main bedroom is great for morning coffee. But perhaps an umbrella for use in the afternoon? The view out the giant windows in the living room gives glimpses of the cruise ships in and out of port. So many good places to eat and shop within easy walking distance too. We frequently went out in the late morning, walked wherever, then went back to the apartment for a break before heading out again for dinner and more walking The Strand, Pier 21, Market Street and all the other great surrounding streets. A small word of caution regarding the clawfoot tub/shower in the bathroom. We found it a bit hard to get in and out of even though we have no mobility issues. Otherwise, the bathroom provided ample space and the washer/dryer worked great. We would definitely be back!Oh, one more thing! A sheet about the history of the building might be nice!

Convenient loft for exploring all the Galveston Strand has to offer. Arcade games were a hit with the kids and king size bed was comfy. Decor and light fixtures add to the ambience of an old loft and the architectural details from the past. A few things at the property are showing their age and would benefit future guests to update, including the couch and shower in the claw foot tub.

The building was full of old charm but with that came thin walls they allowed the other units to be heard from every room. Three nights and hardly any sleep later we were glad to go home. We also encountered a water leak in the main bedroom from the ceiling during a rain storm, we contacted the owner who assured us that it will be repaired after we left.

Perfect location. Great size for just the 2 of us and our golden retriever. My husband hated the shower, it was a little tight so if you have difficulty getting into.a high tub or have dizziness/spatial issues this may not be for you. Also small narrow stairs leading up to the loft. But I loved the space, it was very comfortable and walking distance to all the best stuff! Would absolutely stay here again! Managers were also very responsive.

Cool apartment in a classic Galveston historic building. My wife beat me at Centipede on the old school stand-up arcade console. No problem with street parking. Short walk to The Strand or coffee shop/restaurants on Post Office. Cool scene at Daiquiri Time Out (and a secret bar?) a couple blocks away.

Short stay before cruise

The location of this property is no less than amazing. We some up that morning and the ship was 2 1/2 blocks away. The property was nice and bright. The only downside i had was i informed them that i was traveling with a elderly man (my dad) and they put us in a unit with about 2 flights of stairs straight up. Once he got in we didn't want to bring him back down to tour the town
