The unit provides 180 ' view Gulf . . . My opinion - the best view of the gulf. Unit has one king bed, a sleeper couch, two flat screen TV's, full a size kitchen, a fridge - is a cold w/ ice maker. Pots, pans, a toaster, a blender, cups, saucers, silverware, everything you need to cook for the two of use. Also, have stack washer and dryer inside the unit and two packets of soap. The bathroom has deep jetted tub & shower for two.
Holiday Inn Galveston Resort does not have following:
- this is not a hotel, no room service, no daily housekeeping
- this is not on Seawall where the bars and action are
- this is not close to any convenience stores or grocery stores, so best to stock up.
- If you want to sit on the beach, bring your own chairs / towels & umbrella.
The property has a wooden ramp that will take you most of the way to the beach. There is also a handy spot with a spigot to wash off sandals and bare feet
In the past the temperature has been in past in low 100's, the beach has had a low breeze,, and at night low breeze little cooler, but delightful.
