This pet-friendly retreat ensures your furry family members can join the fun, too. With wheelchair accessibility, you and your loved ones can enjoy the island in comfort and ease.

As soon as you walk through the door, you'll know you're on vacation. The open concept living area with a large kitchen island and dining area is perfect for family gatherings. Sink into the comfortable furniture in the living room while you watch TV or enjoy a good book. The master bedroom features a King bed, en suite bathroom, walk-in closet, and flat-screen TV, and the second bedroom has a Queen bed. The kids will love their own dedicated space with a twin trundle bed, TV, and plenty of board games to play.This home features 2 twin size sleeper chairs and a crib.

Take a soak in the beautiful walk-in spa-like showers or relax on the front or back porch sitting areas. Enjoy an evening under the soft glow lights on the downstairs patio while the kids play in the fenced-in backyard. Just blocks from the Seawall and minutes from the Strand District, Schlitterbahn, Moody Gardens, and a variety of restaurants and tourist stops, you'll have no shortage of activities to enjoy.

For those rainy days, enjoy the enclosed, screened-in patio or play cards or dominoes (provided). With cable TV and over 200 channels, including extra sports channels, and high-speed WIFI, you'll never be bored.

Home Rules
Quiet hours 9 pm-9 am.
Pet friendly for 1 dog with a $100 pet fee. Additional dog may be allowed, subject to owner approval.
Vendors have access to the homes on their scheduled day. Service days have the possibility of changing.
A laundry bag will be dropped off 1-2 days prior to departure. No need to worry, please leave it where it has been placed.
This rental property is not used for Nuisance Parties or Unlawful Gatherings. 6 adult maximum plus their dependent children are allowed at the property.

Unauthorized late check-out will incur a penalty of $150 + tax
If available, fees applied for early check in and late check out being up to 80% of the nightly rate depending on time requested

We do our best to ensure guests have a 5-star experience. Guests will be provided with a start-up supply of household items such as laundry soap, dish soap, paper towels, toilet paper, etc so that upon check-in you do not need to run to the store. We do not provide salt, pepper, oils, and spices. If you are staying longer than a few days you will need to purchase these items. Thank you!

Important Note: We want you to enjoy your stay to the fullest. Please be aware amenities may break or not work during your stay and we ll do our best to accommodate you. May an amenity not work or fail during your stay we will do our best to make it right, and we can refund up to 10% of the affected nights to make it right. You have to let us know at the time of notice so we can do our best to remedy the situation.

It was in a convenient location and decent neighborhood. The house showed wear and tear and wasn't the cleanest but was comfortable. I encountered a mouse during my stay, and the host was helpful and accommodating to get that sorted out.

Such a Nice Place!

It was such a nice place! There were two comfortable living areas, with a very spacious kitchen! We loved the house so much! It was perfect for us and close to Moody Gardens where my husband was competing in Texas 70.3! Would stay there again!

Wonderful stay

We loved staying here. The house is great, lots of room. Nice yard and patio. Comfortable beds and furniture. Awesome kitchen, they even had toys, beach towels and chairs that you can use. Can't say enough good things. We will definitely try to book this one next time we visit Galveston.

We really enjoyed our stay and unwind weekend. There was an issue with the ac when we got there, but the property managers were on top of it and had two a/c repair me out same day.

First Time Stayers

Reasonably priced, huge space for entertainment but also had the home vibe. We traveled nearly 6 hours to come stay and it was well worth it. Fully furnished which was really helpful, especially the washer and dryer set up in the garage. Conveniently located in a quiet neighborhood. We will definitely stay again.

Very nice home we truly enjoyed our stay. The owners were really easy to communicate with during our stay. Second bedroom with the queen bed was slightly uncomfortable. We enjoyed our family time it was nice having the kids area and it being separate from the standard living area. Thank you so much

Good location. House was wheelchair accesible and clean. Backyard was not, however. We picked up a shopping bag full of dog droppings. There is a busy street behind the property so it was a bit noisy. Though altogether, it was a very nice stay.Therenoisy.Altogether it was an enjoyable stay

Perfect for a Galveston home out of the hustle and bustle

This home was located perfect for us going to and from Moody Gardens for a dance competition . We felt very comfortable in the neighborhood and the neighbors we very nice. What the listing doesn’t say is that there is a deep freezer and refrigerator in the garage which came in super handy with extra food. Oh and there were lemon/lime trees in the back yard that my kids thought was pretty awesome. The only thing was it wasn’t close to a beach which truly was ideal for our situation. We LOVED this house and hope we can use it again for any future visits to Galveston. We were extremely happy. Oh and to top it off the master has two ceiling fans! That kept the room at a perfect temp. Thanks again for offering such a great home!!!! It was a great week!

Great house for two couples traveling together.

Pelican's Roost at 2510 Cedar Street in Galveston, TX worked very well for two senior citizen couples vacationing together. Each of us had our own privacy. Kitchen/Dining room table was perfect for game playing. Kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals. We needed a house that would work for people with mobility issues and this one was set up nicely for that. I will say that the large shower chair provided was too big for the shower in the 2nd bathroom. Fortunately, we brought a portable one with us. The couch, loveseat and recliner in the living room are comfortable but sink down low and are difficult for seniors to get up. The neighbor has a dog that sometimes barks incessantly, and it becomes a bit annoying sometimes. The house was quite clean with ample ammenities to get through the first few days. It felt home-like from the moment we walked through the door.

The home is located in a residential subdivision and would not be an easy walk to the beach (nor is there usable beach up 69th). The home worked out great for our weekend and we were very pleased.
