We stayed here as a large family with children and toddlers.While the location was convenient and the backyard layout was appealing, the property did not match the listing description of a âresort-likeâ or recently updated home.Upon arrival, the house had a strong cigarette smoke odor despite being listed as non-smoking. Cleanliness was a major concern, including dirty dishes in cabinets, half-used toiletries, and pest activity in multiple rooms.There were several safety issues that made the stay stressful with young children, including loose wall fixtures with sharp edges, long blind cords near the pool doors, an unfenced pool area, and childrenâs pool toys with visible mold and exposed metal.The hot tub and pool required significant attention, including excessive chlorine levels that caused discomfort, and the overall condition of furnishings and beds was heavily worn.Communication with the host during the stay was responsive, but several expectations and charges were not clearly disclosed prior to booking.This property may be better suited for adults who are comfortable managing maintenance and safety concerns during their stay. Families with young children should proceed with caution.
