Watch the sun come up over the Gulf of Mexico each morning when you escape to this condo beautifully situated mere steps from the beach.

With sweeping ocean views, you can enjoy your morning coffee on the director-style Adirondack chairs while watching an incredible sunrise. After a fun day at the beach or the pool or returning from fun excursions, you can enjoy a delicious cocktail from the comfortable cushioned deck chairs. You can prepare dinner in the well-equipped kitchen, heat the grill to prepare your favorites, or simply enjoy one of Galveston's many restaurants.

Inside, you will be greeted with a cool blast of central air-conditioning, complimentary WiFi, a living space that's both cozy and open, and a dining room table. The kitchen and the bedroom each have two WiFi outlets for your convenience. Both the living room and the bedroom have smart TVs. The bedroom has a king bed, and the full bath is stocked with fresh towels. There are two bunks built into the hallway for your junior guests to enjoy & there is a queen sleeper sofa in the main room. This condo sits on the third floor and will easily accommodate six guests. There are four sand chairs to enjoy as well.

Seascape Resort is located on the western end of the Seawall at Diamond Beach. It is one of only a few beachfront resorts on the island, with no road between you and the Gulf of Mexico. It is gated with 24-hour staffed security. Once inside, you have direct access to the beach via a private boardwalk. The resort-style complex has an elevator, an outdoor pool that is heated in the off-season, a children's pool, an adult-only hot tub, plenty of lounge chairs, a beautifully landscaped courtyard, shaded verandas, as well as a grilling and picnic area.

This condo is a short drive to many of Galveston's attractions. The Historic Stand for shopping (7.5 miles), the Galveston Fishing Pier (1.3 mi), the Lone Star Flight Museum in Houston (37 mi), Moody Gardens (3.4 mi), Laffite's Cove Nature Preserve (4.7 mi), Moody Gardens Golf Course (2.7 mi), Historic Galveston Island Pleasure Pier Amusement Park (5.9 miles), The Ocean Star Offshore Oil Rig & Museum (7.6 mi), the Galveston Historic Seaport-Home of the 1877 Tall Ship Elissa (7.5 mi), the Galveston Railroad Museum (7.2 mi) the Self-Guided Tree Sculpture Tour (7.4 mi) & the Bishop's Palace (7.2 mi).

Vacasa Management Company is BAD!

Our original condo reservation was cancelled by Vacasa at the last minute due to a "maintenance issue". We were moved to a different condo which had similar amenities. It however had no working elevator. We spent about 3 hours waiting for them to locate a different placement for us to no avail. We finally accepted this rental as our kids were falling asleep in the now closed lobby of the property. We had juustndriven 11 hours from Missouri. We struggled with our luggage up three flights of stairs (actually 6 turning staircases). I called VRBO to complain and was just transferred back to Vacasa who did nothing. VRBO should not allow this company to have anything on VRBO, it is unacceptable property with NUMEROUS maintenance issues. I have photos of all of it too. I have been a customer of VRBO and always had good experiences but this was a disaster from the beginning. I will never ever rent anything from this company and will advise others not to as well. I would like an answer from VRBO as to why such a badly maintained place is allowed to advertise on their website.

Relaxing anniversary stay!

My husband and I booked this for our anniversary. We had an awesome time! The balcony was a nice place to sit and relax and enjoy the view. This place is perfect as it isn’t on the seawall but not so far out we felt like we had to drive forever to get to anything. We will be back for sure!!

Poorly laid out for use of space. Bed not comfy, couch was gross. Missing or broken necessities (coffee maker, pot holders etc). When I booked this on VRBO I thought was was privately owned like the other VRBOs I’ve booked before but it redirected to me to another site after I booked called Vacasa and it was clearly a mass owned and handled type of thing. Not done well. Would not recommend. I’ve stayed at much better for the same price for sure.

Air conditioner has not been cleaned/serviced ever possibly

The ac froze up on us the first night, soni was up from about midnight to 5 am thawing and fixing it. Come to find the inner condenser coils have never been cleaned possibly ever. It was completely clooged with nastiness, gunk, hair, dirt and mold so my family got to beathe that in the whole time. I asked for a new place to stay and nothing was done. Ac technician partially cleaned it the next day but it was so bad he said he would have to take much more time another day to properly clean it. Do not let somone else stay here until it has properly been cleaned!

Galveston condo

Everything went very well, even after to recent hurricane. Communication through the app was clear and easy to understand, except I could have used more information about how to LOCK the door. (Unlocking was simple and explained). Property was great. We had a wonderful time.

NO CUSTOMER SERVICE

THIS WAS AN AWESOME LOCATION. GOOD, CLEAN,HAD EVERYTHING WE NEEDED. EXCEPT NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. THE DOOR WOULD NOT LOCK WHEN WE WERE GOING OUT. WHEN WE FINALLY GOT A LIVE PERSON ON THE LINE SHE WAS NO HELP ASKED DUMB QUESTIONS THEN SAID WOULD PREPARE A TICKET. THEN NEITHER TV WORKED HAD SOME CRAZY ERROR MESSAGE SAME NO HELP;SHE HAD US PUNCH A BUNCH OF BUTTONS ON THE REOMTE FOR NOTHING;SAME THING ABOUT THE TICKET. SO THE EVENING THAT WE ARE LEAVING A MAN TEXTS TO SEE IF HE CAN ENTER. WE SAID NO, TO COME BACK IN THE MORNING CAUSE WE WERE OUT FOR THE EVENING.HE SAID HE WOULD NOT BE AVAILABLE THEN. WE FINALLY FIGURED OUT HOW TO GET THE DOOR TO LOCK IN ORDER TO LEAVE.

Had hoped for better but was disappointed. location was fine and the area was quiet. Weather was cloudy and chilly so didn’t use pool. Size of condo was fine for my husband and I. Cleanliness of condo was not great. Uncomfortable and dirty sofa. Broken or over used small appliances like coffee pot in kitchen. Bedroom was very crowded. A king bed stuffed into a space just big enough for a queen. Only a night stand in room. No space for clothes or suitcases. Very difficult to move around bed. Would not recommend.

Great view, comfortable condo

We love the SeaScape complex for easy access to the beach and wonderful heated pool and hottub. This unit was in great shape and very comfortable. The host was responsive. The kitchen had nice pots and pans to cook and bake. My family really enjoyed the board games. Beds were very comfortable. The only thing missing were pot holders, hangers and a broom. Other than that it was perfect. The view was amazing for sunrises.

Cozy little beach getaway

Overall, very happy with our stay. The price was excellent. The location was awesome. Convenient access to the beach. Very pleased with the condo, itself. Now for the cons. The bbq grills need a little maintenance and TLC. The beach is littered with debris and lacks sand. The kids were basically playing with dirt.
