Highlights include the sound of the surf, Gulf breezes, and beautiful sunrise views from the large south-facing balcony off this two-bedroom condo. The full kitchen features granite countertops, a Keurig, a Mr. Coffee fresh brew coffeemaker, and plenty of dishware to make you feel at home. The spacious primary bedroom has Gulf views and access to the balcony. Pointe West community offers several amenities, including beach walkovers, paved walking trails, a tunnel under the highway for easy access to the lazy river, which is located on the bayside, a fitness center, an infinity-edge pool, and lagoons throughout the property. You'll have a work desk available, and the high-speed WiFi will make it easy for remote workers and students to perform online research for those last-minute projects. You won't miss a beat!

Beach Club bands will be $25 per guest over three years old to access all amenities. This fee is charged by the POA of Pointe West and is payable at the Beach Club.
The on-site restaurant Sippin on Sunshine is open (hours may vary in the off-season). A snack shack with drinks and food is also open.
During high season, live bands may be on-site.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Great condo, amazing views. But the on property restaurant and bar being closed was a real problem as it’s 30 miles to the nearest food. Made things sort of difficult as it wasn’t clearly stated that they’d be closed until after we paid.

I’m not a fan of condo management company. AC was cool enough but house was so full of moisture (more than normal Galveston humidity) floors were even damp. Hot water did not work. Hard to believe it’s a 9.8 rating. Pointe West is great area though.

What can I say our stay at this booking was perfect. The location is perfect it’s in a quiet spot of the island, which is perfect if you’re looking to relax and decompress. The apartment itself was fantastic. It was super clean and extremely comfortable. The balcony overlooks the gulf and is perfect place to have your morning coffee. Overall it’s just a really comfortable place to stay and relax. I would HIGHLY recommend it to anybody!

Wonderful Vacation Rental

Our recent stay July 23-27 at Pointe West was wonderful! The beach was a true highlight, offering mild waves and a refreshing lack of crowds, making it ideal for families looking for a relaxing getaway. We thoroughly enjoyed the large, refreshing pool and appreciated the convenience of easy poolside dining. The condo itself was very comfortable and incredibly well-equipped with everything we needed for a perfect stay. We can't wait to go back!

We had a wonderful stay over the 4th of July weekend. Our unit was clean, stocked, and well organized - wifi and cable worked perfectly. Appreciate it being pet friendly and will likely look to book it again if available for our annual stay!

We loved our stay here, the view to the beach was perfect, also the walk is great, the swimming pool area was a great and the food from the restaurant at the clubhouse was surprisingly good. Everyone was nice and friendly. I would love to go back. Definitely Recommend!

Clean place but AC was not working properly

Overall the locations was clean and ask described. However the AC would not go below 76 which does not cut it for TX heat. Called and was told someone came out and looked at it but still next night. Thermostat never went below 76. Unit was running. It was a show stopper but just a let down

This condo was clean and comfortable. The ocean view from the balcony is amazing. Everything in working order, and an easy walk to the beach. Resort amenities and grounds are well kept and easy to access.

Last minute family getaway

I recently booked a last minute quick family getaway at Oceanscape. The price, amenities, location, and condo were all on point. I wasn’t quite sure what to expect but am happy to say I overpacked and the condo came with enough amenities that I could have saved time and left half of what I brought at home. The condo was clean, well equipped and strategically placed far enough away from the hustle and bustle of Galveston allowing private beaches and relaxing days, but close enough to run in for dinner, shopping or activities. The Vacasa team was super attentive to our inquiries and I am super happy with our stay. I will definitely be back and would recommend to others.

Sunshine and Seashells: A Perfect Galveston Getaway!

We just returned from our stay at a fantastic condo complex in Galveston! Our condo was ideally located for us and just steps from the beach via a private boardwalk we were there in just a few minutes. We didn’t have to fight traffic or searching for parking or public beach access. The condo itself was clean, comfortable, and perfect for our family. Kitchen was great for cooking meals (everything you need) and has many great options for restaurants nearby. Our hosts provided many games and books to entertain the family especially on the one rainy afternoon we had. The condo had wifi and cable TV to enjoy winding down in the evening. The beds are super comfortable - we slept well and there is plenty of closet space. The clubhouse was a haven, especially on those hotter afternoons. We spent hours splashing around in the sparkling pool, unwinding in the soothing hot tub, and even had some friendly competition nights in the well-equipped game room. We especially loved having those options. (Note there is an additional fee but 100% worth it) We made many memories here!

This place is amazing! Location, view, and access to beach are perfect. Even though it's 15 minutes outside of Galveston proper, it is still an easy drive to the Seawall and all it's activity. This place was spotless and the furnishings didn't look like they'd been bought at Goodwill and just pieced together. It was roomy enough for everyone. While I'm not a big fan of property mgmt companies, I believe Vacasa made all the difference with this rental. It's the first time I've rented in Galveston (and I've rented a lot) that the communication and access to property was effortless, the place was spectacularly clean and it was well stocked with the necessities. Even all the dishes matched! It really made a difference. However, **RENTER BEWARE IF YOU HAVE DOGS** - Unbeknownst to me this property (or someone associated with it) has a fireworks show on Saturday night which takes place literally right outside the living room window. If your dog is a like mine and is scared of fireworks, this will be a huge set back (I literally had to hold/walk mine around for 2 hrs after the show). I was not expecting this and it woke everyone up after a long day at the beach. Sadly it's the reason I gave it only 4 stars :( and is the reason I will never be able to go back. But other than this one issue (and for most it will be non-issue), I cannot recommend this place enough.

Wonderful getaway!

Relaxing getaway

We had a wonderful stay at this condo on the beach. The location is perfect, just steps away from the sand and water. The balcony has a stunning view of the gulf where you wanted to spend your time if you were not at the beach. I would highly recommend this condo to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway.
