Enjoy a stylish experience at this centrally-located apartment located in historic downtown Galveston! Just a block or two from everything you`re going to want to visit downtown, this location is tough to beat. Built in 1917, the League Lofts have been the ideal place to live for over a century, and now they`re being offered to you!! Designed and furnished in 2022, the apartment will comfortably sleep up to 5, with everything you`re going to need to enjoy your Galveston getaway!! THERE IS NO ELEVATOR IN THIS BUILDING. IT IS ALL ONLY STAIRS!

● WINTER TEXAN RATE: Escape to the Texas Gulf Coast this winter! Ask about our reduced monthly rates October 1 - March 1.

● Location: Historic Downtown area of Galveston, Texas, half mile from cruise ship terminal. This is a historic building with early 20th century building materials and single-pane windows. Noise may be present.

● Beach Access: Less than a 4-minute drive from the beaches at the Seawall.

● Rent BeachBox: Beach gear rentals are available! Ask us for details and rates.

● WIFI/Cable: We provide free high-speed WIFI and Roku with access to Sling TV for live television channels. Guests are welcome to log into their own streaming service apps.

● Pet Policy: 1 pet is allowed with a $25 fee per pet. Please keep pets off furniture, clean up after them outside, and crate them if left alone indoors.

● Parking: Paid street parking options on the streets surrounding the building.

● Cancellation Policy: All cancellations are subject to a 3% credit card processing fee.

● Party Policy: No parties are allowed at our home. Please look elsewhere if that is the intent of your trip.

● Age Requirement: Guests must be 24+ to book.

House Rules:
- Guests must be 24+ to book the property.
- One-night stays must be approved.
- Parties and events are prohibited.
- Quiet hours are from 10pm-8am.
- Any damages to the house or property during your stay will result in a deduction or additional charge for the resulting repair/replacement cost.
- All pets must be approved by our team, stay off of all furniture, be cleaned up after, and not left alone inside the home unless in a kennel.
- Do not turn the AC below 70 degrees. If you do, you will risk the AC unit freezing up, requiring it to thaw out which will result in the home getting extremely warm.
- Should an eviction occur due to breaking house rules (noise ordinance violations, excessive guests and/or vehicles beyond the agreed amount), there will be an $850 fine.

The property was very nice and clean. Communication was great. Check in easy. Great location easy walk to restaurants. Lack of an elevator on the third floor was not a problem for us but could be problematic for some. Definitely would stay again.

Inconvenient, awkward, and exposed. The first choice you will have to make is who will sacrifice their privacy. But it’s a trick question, because the answer is everybody. To access the only bathroom, you must go through a bedroom and walk directly past the bed. If that wasn’t bad enough, you can't even close this bedroom door because the latch is broken, and gravity keeps it half-open all the time. The only way to get it closed is by locking it with a deadbolt, which then prevents access to the bathroom. Even when the doors are fully closed, there is a sizable gap between the doors leading directly into the second bedroom. You may as well keep the doors open anyway, because they are so creaky it will be sure to wake everybody up if you try to use them. The second bedroom door closes to the living room, but has a full-sized frosted window on the door limiting privacy.The parking is inconvenient and awkward. If you’re lucky enough to get a spot on the street next to the building, you will be forced to move your vehicle every 2 hours throughout the day or risk a parking ticket. There is no designated parking for this building. The bathroom was grimy, kitchen appliances not cleaned, and the AC unit in the bedroom beeped loudly every couple hours all night long and failed to keep the space cool. The ad says it sleeps 5 (2 beds). The extra was the couch which would be fine except for the stains and no blankets or pillows provided. No timely solution offered.

Overall the place was okay. The walk up the steps with all of your luggage is annoying, The floors are dirty and loud to walk on, the bathroom was not clean and small, the living room was really nice, it is not in a safe area at all!

We stayed here for halloween weekend and it was very accessible and close to the strand. We easily walked to everything we needed. Great location, but you must be prepared to climb stairs. A lot of stairs. The A/C works, but they have these extra units with tube things coming out of the window that take up a lot of space in the living room and one of the bedrooms & look very
 rigged with duck tape. The doors between the bedrooms do not close, either. There is very little privacy. You can hear everything that happens in the building and the floors creak very loudly all through the loft. Be prepared to bring blankets as there is no extra blankets in the whole loft and the bedding in the pictures is not what is in the loft. It is very thin. The kitchen did come with dishes, but they were dirty so we had to wash everything before we used it. If you bring food know that there is ONLY salt and pepper provided. Overall, we would not stay here again. The company is very promotional and it is a lot easier dealing with a place ran by actual people.

The loft was just as described and nicely kept. Everything was comfortable and roomy. The beds are big. There were plugs everywhere, which we appreciated. It really is a cute loft. You can see many features from a time gone by, mixed with numerous new updates (kitchen).On the flip side. The elevator does not work. We knew we would be on the 3rd (top) floor, but we were not prepared for the climb. Parking is on the street. You need to get to the loft well before check-in to secure a decent parking spot and to check on your vehicle if needed. It's very close to The Strand, so walking is not a problem. Lastly, we did not feel like WE should be the ones taking out the garbage upon checkout. The garbage bin is downstairs, out the door, and to the back of the building. Some options could have been made available.

It was exactly what was pictured! AC was nice and cold. Kitchen was well stocked. The location was excellent, walking distance to just about everything. Water pressure was great. Bikes were a fun perk. I do wish there had been a full length mirror but we would absolutely stay here again!
