Villa Fauno A is a welcoming apartment located in a small hamlet at the foot of a castle. It sleeps four people. From Villa Fauno A you will enjoy a fascinating view of the greenery. Villa Fauno A is 60 square meters (645 square feet). It features a shared swimming pool, a private patio, a shared garden, air conditioning (please read description below to check in which rooms the units are installed), winter heating and WI-FI Internet access.
You will be roughly 6.5 km (4 miles) from the center of Gaiole in Chianti, where you will find restaurants and shops. You will find the closest restaurant a few meters (feet) away and a grocery store at 2.5 km (roughly 1.55 miles).
Villa Fauno A is located on the ground floor of an age-old stone house. You will reach it from the parking area along a 40-meters (130-feet) route that cuts through the garden and includes approximately three stairway steps.
To stay at Villa Fauno A you will need a car. You will be able to park it free of charge on the premises. Please note that access to Villa Fauno A is along a 800-meter (half-a-mile) unpaved road. Villa Fauno apartments are set in the slope of a hill in the Chianti Classico region, surrounded by olive trees and ancient vines.


The whole complex is composed by an eleventh century castle with 11 bedrooms, and by a hamlet with 6 apartments and 5 bedrooms. The complex can host up to 54 people.


Inside the park surrounding the complex you will find also a chapel, a restaurant and a tennis court. Guests can also enjoy massage treatments upon request and for a fee.

Swimming Pool
The swimming pool is 5 meters (16 feet) large by 20 meters (65 feet) long, from 1.40 meter (4.6 feet) to 1.70 meters (5.6 feet) deep. The area is equipped with sun loungers and an external shower. From the swimming pool you will enjoy a charming view of the greenery. You will share the pool with the other guests staying at the complex and guests staying at the nearby castle. The swimming pool is open from the beginning of April until the end of October.
Patio
The patio is 200 square meters (2150 square feet) large. It is partly shaded by elegant awnings and by tall trees. It is equipped with tables and chairs. From the patio you will enjoy a wonderful view of the valley, of the forest and of the greenery. You will share the patio with the other guests staying at the complex and guests staying at the nearby castle.
Garden
The garden is 1000 square meters (10800 square feet). The garden is equipped with armchairs, as well as with sun loungers. Here you will also find a brickwork barbecue. From the garden you will enjoy an incredible view of the valley, of the forest and of the greenery. You will share the garden with the other guests staying at the complex and guests staying at the nearby castle.
Parking
The parking area is shared with the other guests staying at the complex and guests staying at the nearby castle.  Patio
The patio is 6 square meters (65 square feet) large. You will reach it going up approximately two stairway steps. It is partly shaded by a characteristic porch made of stone. It is equipped with a table and chairs. From the patio you will enjoy a wonderful view of the garden.
Living Room
The living room is paved with terracotta tiles. The furnishings are rural and characteristic of the Tuscan house, and include a sofa and an armchair. In the living room you will also find a cooking area. The kitchenette is equipped with a four-burner induction cooker, an electric oven, a refrigerator with freezer, a microwave oven, an Italian-style coffee-maker and a kettle. The dining table can accommodate six guests. In this room you will find a television (local channels). From the living room you will be able to enter the patio through a French door. The room also has a small window.
Bedroom 1
You will be able to enter the first bedroom through an access area. The bedroom has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/63 inches, wider than a queen-size bed). The furnishings include an armchair and a desk. The room has a window, and it's equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.
Bedroom 2
You will be able to enter the second bedroom through an access area. It has two twin beds (80 cm/32 inches). The room has a window, and it's equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.
Bathroom
The bathroom is equipped with a washbasin, a toilet, a fully enclosed shower and a hairdryer. You will be able to enter the bathroom through an access area.
