If your looking to get away from the busy areas this is an excellent spot. I would suggest having a rental car for here to make getting groceries and sightseeing easier( it is out of the bustle) There is a bus stop right outside if your comfortable taking the bus. There is a good market stand less then a ten min walk where you can buy eggs (cheaper than grocery store) and fruits and veggies etc. The caretaker Huge was excellent, if you have any questions or need anything he's there to help. The patio can get very hot mid day but you can cool off in the ocean or a quick rinse under the outdoor shower. There is a nice beach to walk just a very short walk down the road. The villa is dated but has everything you need. Washer and dryer were a bonus. My husband was happy to also have the little charcoal grill. It took us a couple of nights to get used to the waves crashing on the rocks. We enjoyed watching the fish swimming from the patio and even tried unsuccessfully to catch some. You can swim there, and we did as well as snorkeled but it isn't as inviting as the beach. There are rocks and reef right there and the waves crashing can be a bit intimidating .If your not a strong swimmer or comfortable in the water you might find it hard to get in the water here.
