Magnifique chalet privé à 3 miles de l'entrée du parc Sequoia

NichĂ© dans la partie infĂ©rieure est de Salt Creek Canyon, cette belle maison d’hĂŽtes de 680 pieds carrĂ©s, confectionnĂ©e Ă  la main, s'Ă©tend sur trois hectares. Construit Ă  l'origine par le propriĂ©taire comme studio d'Ă©criture et de peinture Ă  la fin des annĂ©es 1980, il prĂ©sente un plan d'Ă©tage ouvert avec un plafond Ă  poutres apparentes et un sol en parquet de pin. Tous les meubles en bois sont fabriquĂ©s par le propriĂ©taire. Le porche blindĂ© s'ouvre sur deux ponts en bois qui surplombent une sĂ©rie d'Ă©tangs en cascade et de Salt Creek plus bas. Une allĂ©e sĂ©parĂ©e de Salt Creek Road (Ă©galement connue sous le nom de Craig Ranch Road) avec abri de voiture offre un parking et la vie privĂ©e.
Il est trĂšs facile de se rendre oĂč vous voulez aller, que ce soit au parc, en ville ou au bout de South Fork et de Lady Bug Trail. Un kilomĂštre plus loin Ă  pied ou Ă  vĂ©lo dans Salt Creek Road, vous aurez accĂšs au BLM (Bureau of Land Management) et Ă  Case Mountain pour de superbes sentiers de randonnĂ©e et de VTT, ainsi qu'aux cascades de Salt Creek. (saisonnier hiver et printemps) C'est un parc Ă  part entiĂšre.

Truly amazing! The cabin is so clean and well cared for and the location! Wow. After many days of travel to reach our oasis and then a full day right away the next day in SNF (on 9/30 not knowing at the time if the government would shut down and what that might mean for National Parks) the three days we had to rest, unwind, breathe the wonderful mountain air, listen and watch the many birds and animals that wander by
.they were perfect. Even with some rain on our last full day it was still peaceful. Enjoyed many games of cribbage and most of our in house meals in the wonderful screened in porch. Martha and Rick have done a fabulous job making sure this cottage will be a perfect stay. Thanks for sharing with us. We only hope we can return one day

Wow! We wish that we had a higher number to give it! We have traveled a lot, and we have stayed in a lot of spaces. This is the nicest experience that we have had so far, Everything was perfection from the homemade furniture to the koi pond. Every view from the back of the house overlooks nature. We felt like we were living in a tree house! The deer and hummingbirds kept us company. The only regret is that we didn’t have more time to spend there,

The Loveliest Cottage!

This is just the most gorgeous home - we were so impressed with every detail from the beautiful wood furnishings, the art, the windows letting natural light into every corner, the candles, the screened-in porch to have coffee and watch the hummingbirds in the morning, and more. Martha and Rick have truly thought of every amenity you could possibly need to make your stay comfortable. Martha is such a warm and lovely person and we appreciated her communication with us. We would love to return again, perhaps to experience a different season in this magical place!

So Relaxing!

This cottage is so clean and serene. We watched 6 CA quail and listened to numerous birds while relaxing on the screened porch. We also saw a deer in the driveway. This was a perfect location for enjoying the nearby national parks.

Wonderful little paradise in serene setting

My husband and I stayed for four nights in this cute little cottage. It was perfect for us and I have to say the best VRBO we have stayed at. Martha and Rich’s attention to detail and communication, from driving directions to check in and out made everything so easy. Cottage so well appointed it was like living at home. Rich’s handmade wooden furniture is gorgeous and the plants, and orchids
just made you feel at one with nature. Greeted by deer and hummingbirds every morning in our private wooded sanctuary. Just a short drive to sequoia national park and three rivers downtown area. ( Brewery was great and little village store had excellent food.) Bonus hiking right down the road at BLM. They also had multiple books with hiking info for sequoia, kings canyon and Yosemite. Other books and DVDs. Highly recommend!

Sequoia National Park/Three Rivers Cottage

Perfect location! Great place, lots of amenities and tons of amazing local flora and fauna right on the property. We saw turkeys, bats, deer, bullfrogs, quail, hawks and more. It was exactly what we were expecting from the pics. Did not disappoint! Would definitely come back for another stay. The whole trip was magical!

The Best Part of Our Trip

This cottage is so calming and relaxing, both inside and out on the property. It is immaculately clean and comfortable. It would be a great place to stay if you needed to get away and do nothing else. Martha is a really neat person to talk to and she and her husband are obviously blessed with creative talents. Oasis!

This home was exquisite. We’ve stayed in a lot of nice places. This was not just nice, it felt like home. I wanted to read every book on the shelves. The furniture is handmade by Rick. Much of the art is Martha’s. I’ve never been in a cleaner, more well appointed, more organized rental. Martha has gone out of her way to try to anticipate everything her guests might need and, at least for me, everything I needed was exactly where I looked for it. Luxurious in a very understated and comfortable way. Quiet. So much wildlife carries on around the koi cascades. If you just sit you will see a myriad of small birds and mammals. We loved watching the hummingbirds. We even had a bear visit, which was exciting! I hope that someday we have a chance to return to this serene oasis! We cannot thank Martha and Rick enough for their hospitality and kindness.
