Sears homes were kit homes available to purchase through the Sears, Roebuck & Co. catalogue from 1908-1914. This home was completely renovated in 2020 and sits one block from Main St. It is close to Hondo's, Crossroads, the Pioneer Museum and more. You will love how light and airy this home is, how convenient it is to everything, and the large & inviting kitchen. Get away to Fredericksburg in this hand built home!

a Gem that is walking distance from everything

First our host was amazing. Always friendly and responds right away. We arrived to a squeaky clean home and way more spacious than the photos show.Location location location, we parked the car and didn't have to drive for 3 days. Hot tub was clean and, well hot! So nice to come home to after all that walking. Highly recommend.

Nice stay

Went on a ladies trip to get away from city. House was in walking distance to the end of the main street in the area near church where it’s not as busy and there was no concern with losing parking space on street. The hot tub was perfect and we really enjoyed it. Towels were plentiful and loved the laundry area. Having one bathroom was not a big deal. The shower was nice. We like snacking and having a small meal before heading out so we did use the kitchen. I do wish the kitchen had more pan options and a skillet but we figured it out. Also would have liked better cooking utensils and plastic plates and cups for light snacks. Overall, the house was cute, cozy, comfy, and convenient.

Nice New Years get away

We had a wonderful stay. House was so cute and comfy. They had everything you needed. Kitchen well equip and plenty of storage. Bed was very comfy. The location was perfect. We could walk everywhere. Hot tub was great.

Great Location

This property is in a perfect location to all the Main Street activities. The House is very charming and comfortable. I was very impressed with the overall cleanliness of the property. Also it was nice to arrive to snacks, and coffee K cups. This is a great little rental for a Fredericksburg vacation.

Clean and Close

Location was great. Decor and cleanliness great. Perfect for two “close” couples that don’t mind sharing a bathroom. Probably better without kids - I was nervous that we were annoying adjoining home (attached to back of house) with kid noise.

Fantastic Father's Day Weekend

We had such an amazing time with our family celebrating Father's Day! The home was just as described and pictured. Plenty of room for all 5 of us. Walking distance to Main St. for restaurants, shopping, live music and museums. The hot tub was the perfect way to end the day! Can't wait to come again!

Lovely house

My daughters and I make an annual trip to Fredericksburg and enjoy trying out different houses. We loved this house and it’s convenience to Main Street. It’s an old house but very nicely updated! It definitely gets a 5 star rating

Perfect Home One Block South of Main Street

We loved this comfortable two bedroom home. Hardwood floors throughout

Great experience!

The house was amazing! Location was perfect, very clean, and easy check in and out. My wife and I brought her parents to Fredericksburg for the first time. They loved the house and location and appreciated the ability to walk to and from downtown.
