The cottage was clean and welcoming, with a front porch perfect for enjoying morning coffee or an afternoon cocktail. The decor and attention detail were exceptional, exactly what one would anticipate from a 1929 cottage. We met the owners as well -- what a fun couple!

The house was located close to Main Street and all of the attractions. Quiet neighborhood. Lovely backyard with spa. They provided goodies too! Good shower pressure. Comfortable furniture and bedding. We would stay there again.

We picked the property because we wanted something away from the busyness of Austin and not necessarily right next to Main Street in Fredericksburg. We stayed for two nights, and the property had everything we needed. There were a couple of maintenance issues, but we communicated them directly to the property management. The property was clean and organized. Super cute and would definitely stay again!

Great location, excellent vintage home with first class renovation. Welcome book and home directions were precise and complete. We were very comfortable in our stay. Host thought through many details for the traveler, including a snack basket! The backyard is a beautiful sanctuary.

The home is beautiful and clean and exactly as listed. I wanted to move in the moment we got there. Everything was clean and decorated beautifully. The backyard is fantastic and the hot tub was a Godsend after working and on our feet all day. Looking to plan another trip back with my husband. Elsie was a lovely touch too.

Full of Charm

The cottage lived up to the billing, the whole place is as cute as can be. We loved the period decor, the cottage was extremely clean, beds comfortable, and stocked with everything you could possibly need in the kitchen (even the toaster is cute). The location was great too, just a few minutes from downtown and close enough to the highway to access the wineries and distilleries outside of town. The fenced backyard, complete with yard games was also a big plus. The owners went above and beyond the call of duty and noticed my daughter had forgotten an item and arranged to send it to us. Would definitely stay here again!

A charmer indeed!

Just like the name, this precious home is a charmer!!! When we drove up we instantly were drawn to this little cottage's curb appeal. Whoever restored this little place did a phenomenal job keeping its former beauty intact; while also being updated with modern amenities. It reminded my husband and myself of our first home purchase 29 years ago. We thoroughly enjoyed being here so much that we lingered longer there before going out to explore!!

Great place for a weekend getaway

Very charming well appointed home close to downtown. Very nice fenced in backyard which was perfect for our small dog. Super comfortable beds and furnishings. Love all the preserved historical touches like the wood floors, kitchen cabinets, and bathroom sink blended perfectly with all the modern necessities. Highly recommend!

What a treat to stay at this charming home so close to downtown and the fredricksburg area- The home is extremely clean and comfortable - but the back yard is our favorite !
