Josie's Farmhaus is a unique 1920's Farmhouse newly renovated for modern comfort and entertainment. Sleeping 10, this home is the perfect place for your group to call home while visiting Fredericksburg! Our 4-bed, 2-bath vacation rental is only a 1/2 mile south of Main St. and provides all the modern necessities to enjoy your stay! Visit our recommended wineries & enjoy all of the restaurants & shopping Fredericksburg has to offer. Come evening, wind down in the hot tub on our beautiful deck!

The space
Josie's Farmhaus was originally built in 1920 so it's quite literally a century old! We've recently modernized it but tried to keep a bit of the history of the home intact! We've also found dozens of arrowheads in the backyard during the renovations, so keep an eye out! We have recently added a stock tank pool to help our guests cool down in this Texas heat! We hope you enjoy your stay and please reach out to us with any questions!

I live in Austin but I will be available over the AirBnB messenger app. My co-host lives in Fredericksburg (approx 3 minutes from the property) and is available if there is any urgent needs.

Guest access
You will have the entire home and lot including the deck out back. Only spots that will remain locked are the basement and storage shed where we keep supplies. You will receive instructions on how to access the property upon booking! If you need anything just let us know!

We had a great time overall and really enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect and made it easy to get around Fredericksburg, which we appreciated so much. The home was also well-stocked with essentials, which made things convenient for our group.A couple things to keep in mind: for larger groups, the bathroom setup can be a bit tricky since one of the bathrooms is located in the primary bedroom upstairs and the other is a Jack & Jill style. We also felt the home could benefit from a bit more detailed cleaning in some areas. Overall, the host was extremely responsive and accommodating, totally recommend! Overall, it’s a charming home in a great location and worked well for our trip.

Perfect mixture of traditional charm and modern and comfortable convenience. We made a wonderful Thanksgiving meal in the spacious kitchen, and we enjoyed it in the cozy living room. Saw an abundance of deer, enjoyed the hot tub, and we were minutes away from HEB and Main Street.

This home was perfect for our quick trip to Fredericksburg. The home was spacious, clean and had a great location. A quiet neighborhood and close by an HEB. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful farmhouse style!

We stayed here for a bachelorette weekend and loved our stay! Plenty of room for all 9 of us and had great accommodations for everyone. It is super close to downtown Fredericksburg for shopping and some of the best restaurants! Would def recommend eating at hill and vine anytime of the day. Would absolutely book Josie’s Farmhaus again!

Perfect for 2 families with teens-space to spread out outside and the hot tub was awesome. Convenient location to H-E-B since we forgot half of our Thanksgiving supplies😂. Nice personal touches and you can tell it’s well taken care of!

BEST Vacation Rental!

I've stayed at quite a few vacation rentals and this one was by far one of the best. Everything was well thought out and the property was even more beautiful in person. There is plenty of space for a group and it was close to downtown. The owners paid attention to every detail during their renovation and make their guests feel welcome. We had the best time and can't wait to go back!

Amazing place and hosts!

Came down for wine tasting and this place was accommodating from the start with their cancelation policy as we planned months in advance. Once we arrived, we were greeted by the cute decor and clean house. The hosts were super responsive to quick, simple questions. This place is a great retreat to rest and relax in while you spend a weekend exploring Fredricksburg!

Cuteness overload

We loved the decor, and the beds and linens were top notch. Lots of attention to detail throughout the house. Quiet and peaceful setting, great location, very comfortable, and a large television were all reasons to rent this again if we’re in Fredericksburg. The deck and hot tub were also a great way to relax after a long day of shopping!
