Very nice place but cleaning service was poor
Spacious, well-maintained, nicely decorated with a well laid out floor plan. Beautiful property. HOWEVER, floors were filthy. Visible dirt and food crumbs throughout the entire house. Entire view off living room balcony horribly obscured by fingerprints and smudges. Dishes in cabinets have encrusted food on them- eggs dried on frying pan, rings in glasses, grease and stuck on food on baking pans. Apparently dishes in DW were put away dirty. Looks like soap dispenser didn't open, but cleaning staff put dishes away anyway. No vacuum cleaner in unit. Since our family came in at different times, one member brought a vacuum and we had to vacuum the entire home ourselves, wash every dish and piece of silverware before using, wipe down counter tops, and shake crumbs off furniture. Given the visible uncleanliness, we also washed the sheets on every bed because we doubted the cleanliness of those as well. We liked the place but were HIGHLY disappointed in the cleanliness. REALLY feel like our "Cleaning/Housekeeping" fee should be refunded since we had to clean the place before we could comfortably use it. In fact, feel like we should get one night rent knocked off since our first night we were up until 4 AM cleaning the place.
