Located on a hillside lot within the village of Frankfort you'll find the effortlessly charming, Gathering Place. Boasting a wonderful indoor/outdoor living flow, the home's backyard comes equipped with outdoor seating, a gas grill, outdoor games, and a firepit.

Inside, the inviting interior is filtered by sunlight and adorned with bohemian touches. The full kitchen has been recently updated and boasts new cabinets and granite countertops. Connecting into the dining area and living room, family time is sure to come with ease. Kick back and enjoy watching your favorite shows on the living room Smart TV. Or, gather around the window-side dining table for a home-cooked meal.

The home's four bedrooms are equally cozy, one of the rooms features a trundle bed underneath a King-sized mattress, ensuring the little guests can be with their parents. The lower level of the home also has a large family room, equipped with a Smart TV - perfect for movie viewings. Perks like a private washer/dryer, gas fireplace, central air-conditioning, and Pack-N-Play round out Gathering Place's interior perks.

The front door was broken and we could not get it. They needed to send someone to fix it but had no time estimation. It was about an hour of back-and-forth texts and phone calls before the garage code was given, which allowed us access. When the repairman did come to fix the front door, it was the next day. He was very nice but told us he's been telling them this need to be repaired for a while, that it's only getting worse, and that he doesn't have the capability to fix it. So that was very frustrating to hear! The overall cleanliness was good, except for sand on the rugs, but it is by a beach so to be expected, and the dishes weren't particularly clean. That's because the dishwasher just doesn't do a good job. The house overall was quite comfortable, well equipped and a great location for our group of six that raced the Ironman 70.3 while visiting. Very relaxing outdoor area with deer wandering through, and the beds were comfortable. Overall, it just needs a little bit of love, but it's kind of what one would expect in a vacation rental. I would absolutely stay there again but do hope the front door issue is addressed before the next round of guests

Family Fun Location

We love Frankfort and everything that it has to offer. This house was a great addition to our stay. The backyard was perfect for a wide range of ages. The children used the fenced in backyard, swing set and ropes course for outdoor fun while the adults utilized the patios, and fireplace. The indoors provided enough space for three families to have their own space when needed. We hope to have the opportunity to stay here again.

Aptly named, the Gathering Place!

Eight friends stayed here as part of Ironman Frankfort. The house was super spacious. We had a cookout the first night in the back yard and it was a great vibe. Quiet neighborhood. No street noise. Large garage so we could bring all of our bikes and gear inside to stage. Kitchen nicely stocked with spices, coffee station and soaps. Just one mile from town, so you can easily walk downtown or ride a bike. We LOVED this place! There is a playset in the back - incase you have kids, which we didn't and a fire pit- which we didn't get to. Also a ping pong table in the garage, so nicely appointed.

Frankfort is a lovely town

The property was perfect for our stay. The house was just what we needed. I do think the management company could have mowed, one of the bedrooms was accidentally locked by cleaners, so it took us awhile to find the hidden room, and the check in was a little off, as the lockbox was not working properly. But none of this will deter me from renting this lovely house if we find ourselves back in Frankfort.
