The cottage is tastefully furnished with all modern comforts. The pleasant living room is perfect for cozy evenings in front of the fire, firewood can be bought from the owner or you can bring your own. The fully equipped kitchen makes cooking easy. With three comfortable bedrooms, all guests can enjoy a good night's sleep after a day full of activities.



Step out onto the covered porch and into a large, lush garden. There is plenty of space here for the children to play, or for you to just relax with a good book. The surroundings offer beautiful nature with forest walks, cycle paths and of course the proximity to Vänern's clear waters.

Frändefors is surrounded by outstanding natural beauty. Explore the many hiking trails that wind through dense forest and open countryside, where you can enjoy the fresh air and beautiful views. Vänern, Sweden's largest lake, invites you to a variety of water activities. Take a swim in the crystal clear water, hire a boat for a day on the lake, or try your luck at fishing - there are plenty of perch, pike and zander here.



For those interested in history, Frändefors offers several interesting destinations. Discover churches and historic buildings that bear witness to the area's rich past. Also nearby is Dalsland's Canal, a 19th-century feat of engineering, where you can take a boat ride through the scenic locks and learn more about its fascinating history.
