The room was terrible the bathrooms smelled like mildew and mold. I actually believe a motel 8 would have been cleaner. I will definitely not be going back. Also directly across the street were a few strip clubs. Not really ideal are for a family vacation.

Wonderful Fall Break Getaway!

We have stayed at waterscape before, but this was our favorite condo yet! The proximity to the beach could not have been better—we had lots of back and forth between 2 families with 6 small children, and the closeness made it easy. Everything in the property was as described. We loved watching the sunset from the large patio and our kiddos loved the bunk room! Thanks for having us! We can’t wait to come back!

GREAT STAY

Pool, cray river and ocean were great! Restaurants were almost in walking distance, if you like water the Waterscape cant be overlooked. The ground floor worked out excellent with 3 children under 6 years old

Great stay

Condo was exactly how it looked, it was convenient for the pool and beach. When the ice maker quit working they were quick to get a counter top maker the next morning and make it right. The activities and pool was great for our kids aged 6 and 8. The beach chairs were nice to have close to the ocean where our teenage girls wanted to be most of the time. Will likely return.

B101 is a great place to stay!

We loved this property! The location is awesome, rooms are big and nicely decorated, and everything was clean. Also, the property manager made the experience even better with a great welcome email with lots of information to make our stay special!

Great location and well-supported stay

Being able to see the Gulf is always a benefit, and we took advantage of being able to walk out the balcony to the beach. Two tips we learned that should help others staying here for the first time. 1. The unit is in the southwest corner of the complex and is easiest to access on the far west side entrance closer to the Gulf. 2. The trash chute is located close to the entrance to the parking garage next to the elevators closest to the surface parking lot. All other info and details you need are very well covered in the information provided by the host management company. We had a great long weekend in the off-season.

Great affordable condo on the water!

Really enjoyed B101 at waterscape. It was right by the water with an awesome view. Super clean and waterscape has lots of amenities the others don’t. Will stay here again!

Family Vacation

Great condo! Everything was a breeze from communication to check-in. Unit was clean and ready upon arrival. We absolutely loved the location of this unit. It is close to both the beach and the pool. My family loved the grassy area right out the back door. The kids were able to feel that they had a little back yard and room to play outside even if we weren’t at the pool/beach. We would absolutely stay at this unit again.

Perfect family getaway

Perfect family getaway. Having the pool and the ocean fulfilled the swimming needs for our bigs and littles. Everything was within walking distance. Excellent location. Abundant ocean wildlife. This was our 2nd trip to the Waterscape and hopefully not our last.

Perfect location, perfect size, beautiful views, butcleanliness lacking

If you want a great location with convenient ground level access and beautiful ocean views this condo is it. It has great views with easy access to the beach and pool. The space is well thought out and the bunk beds were perfect. The only reason I gave this condo 4 stars was the cleanliness of it upon check in. We got there at 2:30 and wanted to see how far along they were in the cleaning process so we peaked in the window and they hadn't even started cleaning yet (check out is strictly at 10am). When 4pm (check in) came around they were still moping, but the baby needed to be put down for a nap. Once we were able to get in the condo there was sand all over the floors still, a dead bug on the counter in the master bathroom, hair in the sink, stains on the floor in the kitchen and later that night we discovered sand in the beds like the sheets hadn't been washed. (Checkout instructions say to leave bedding on the beds, so I wonder if they were even changed between guests). I was surprised by all of this, but I decided to just clean it myself (fyi there are no cleaning supplies just a broom and a vacuum that doesn't really work well) and I stripped the beds and washed the sheets myself. I did reach out to the property manager who apologized. Overall, I would stay here again though as everything else was awesome, but I'd bring some cleaning supplies and just plan on cleaning it myself.

Family Beach Getaway

We had a family of 9 staying at B101. I have stayed at numerous condos at Waterscape and this was the best by far. What made it so spectacular was the location. You could hear and see the ocean waves, feel the ocean breeze and feel as though you were sitting right on the beach. The condo itself was awesome, perfect for our family, especially the bunk room for the teenagers. I was pleased with the well stocked kitchen. We will definitely be staying at this condo again!!

Excellent location

We've stayed at waterscapes over 10 times and this particular condo is a wonderful location. The views of the beach are awesome. The kids loved the ground floor location and could play in the grass area right outside the patio. Waterscapes is an amazing resort. We never had to leave thanks to all of the amenities!

Enjoyable Vacation

We just returned from staying at Waterscape B101 for two weeks. We have enjoyed vacationing at Waterscape for the past ten years, in various condo units, and this was our first experience on the ground floor. We loved the beach front patio around the corner from the pool activity - wonderful view and privacy. The three bedrooms and full bathrooms accommodated all of our visitors. The grandkids loved the third bedroom bunks, not only for sleeping but streaming their favorite movies on the large screen TV. All TVs were large and ROKU functioning. All beds were comfortable and kitchen was well equipped. Management provided us with check-in information in a timely manner and alerted us to any changes in resort amenities - such as the lazy river being repaired during our stay. Waterscape is a great resort with 4 pools, a beautiful beach, and a terrific location. There are numerous restaurants, shops, and attractions all within walking distance. That is why we keep returning to Waterscape and hope to do so again next year.

Delightful Stay

Our 8-night stay at this property was outstanding. Of the five places in Destin that we have rented through VRBO, this was, by far, the best. What's more, this is probably the cleanest property we have ever rented anywhere. The pictures are very accurate with the sole exception being the patio. They have subbed out one table and chairs combo for two patio recliners. This was not a problem in any way. We would happily rent from these folks again; and may look to book very soon in the future.

Family Beach Time 2021

The place was as pretty as the photos of it online, right on the beach and laid out great for families traveling with children of all ages! We really enjoyed our stay there! The only downside was that I tripped coming in the back glass door the first evening and broke a toe, so it made walking very difficult, especially on the sand, so I missed out on almost all of the family beach time...I just wished there'd been a sign posted to remind people to "watch your step" (it seemed higher than any other place we've stayed before) Other than that, it was a great experience, large beautiful condo, with a nice pool and grilling areas, plus splash pads for little ones and best of all, the beach was literally a few steps away!

Family Fun at its Finest

2021 April Vacation

This was the fourth time staying at Waterscape. We’ve always enjoyed it. We didn’t realize that this condo wasn’t managed by waterscape property. There was a mixup with the entry code into the condo upon arrival but we were able to get it taken care of pretty quickly. I was a bit disappointed that some of the beds didn’t have sheets but overall we enjoyed our stay and will be coming back.

This place is excellent ground floor unit that sleeps 10. Waterscape has just about everything you could want. Heated pool..pool food bar.. lazy river.etc.. this unit is on the top of our list to return
