Islander is a newly renovated 2 bed, 2 bath condo on Okaloosa Island that features shiplap ceilings, quartz counters, stainless steel appliances and views to die for. Its designer furnished and sleeps 6. But Islander is all about the location and amenities:

Ready for the beach? You’ll have 4 completely different, completely awesome beaches nearby. Cross the street to Okaloosa Island’s finest sugar sand beaches to hit the waves. Walk next door to Okaloosa Beach for calm shallows that are great for lil’ ones...and also the area’s most popular area for kiteboarding and windsurfing. For beachfront shopping and dining enjoy the nearby Okaloosa Island Boardwalk. Or just don’t go anywhere, as Islander’s backyard is the Bay. Just walk to our backyard and jump in.

Got the need for speed? Bring your wave runner (trailer parking available) or rent one next door. Our backyard bay is ginormous and teems with fish and dolphins. Some people love opening the throttle; others love the 5 minute (or less) ride to Crab Island; while others love exploring the tiny, quiet islands of Pirate’s Cove and Spector Island (great for picnics) in the Santa Rosa Sound which is only 5 minutes away by water.

Looking for activities? Swim with dolphins and pet stingrays at the Gulfarium across the street. Brave the 3 story obstacle course, race go karts and ride bumper boats at Wild Willie’s only two doors down. Check out the escape room or the arcade next door at The Island. Play on the Olympic grade beach volleyball courts across the street at the Okaloosa Boardwalk. Go shopping, play laser tag, go parasailing, listen to live music and try the 3d virtual roller coasters at the Harborwalk (only 2 miles away). Hit Big Kahuna (the area’s largest waterpark) only 3 miles away. Or enjoy our amazing waterfront view of the fireworks every Wednesday and Friday (in season) from our private dock or balcony.

You’re a foodie? Waterfront restaurants with amazing views are right across the street. And Destin’s finest restaurants are all within 3 miles (feel free to ask us for recommendations!)

Love boating? Taking the family to Crab Island (a breathtaking sandbar with live bands, floating eateries, and inflatable obstacle courses) on a pontoon is pretty much a Destin vacation must-do. Don’t have a boat? Rent one next door. Got a boat? Islander has you covered with oversized, angled trailer parking. You can launch at the free boat ramp at Marler Park less than a half mile away.

Like to fish? Castnet for mullet (there are tons) from our private seawall or walk out on our own private dock to hook the bigger fish. Use our community crab traps to catch a crazy number of crabs off our dock. Or cast a line off the nearby Okaloosa Island Pier to snag Pompano, King Mackerel, Cobia, Tarpon and more. (But reel ‘em fast: thieving dolphins will try to steal your catch!.) Or head to Destin Harbor..only 2 miles away...to catch one of the sport fishing charter boats that has made Destin famous.

Just needing to relax? Relax in our huge pool (not heated) overlooking the bay. Or grill up some fresh fish on our grill and waterfront picnic area. Or just sit on the dock on our bay with a pitcher of margaritas and soak in our amazing Gulf Coast sunsets.

Destin and Okaloosa Island are amazing! But why spend your vacation sitting in traffic? Islander puts you in the middle of the area’s best beaches and hot spots.
