Ce condo a Ă©tĂ© rĂ©cemment mis Ă  jour avec beaucoup d'autres mises Ă  jour Ă  venir! De la peinture fraĂźche dans une belle teinte bleue dans l’ensemble du meuble, de nouveaux meubles de salon composĂ©s d’un canapĂ© super confortable qui se transforme en lit et de 2 fauteuils confortables, dĂ©tendez-vous et profitez de la vue depuis le balcon ou regardez un film le nouveau tĂ©lĂ©viseur Ă  Ă©cran plat 50 ". Un nouveau matelas dans la chambre principale est parfait pour passer une bonne nuit de sommeil et l'accĂšs au balcon privĂ© en bord de mer depuis la chambre principale est un avantage supplĂ©mentaire! La chambre dispose de 2 lits doubles avec accĂšs Ă  la salle de bain, l’espace supplĂ©mentaire de la chambre avec lits superposĂ©s en prime est l’espace idĂ©al pour que les plus petits aient leur propre chambre. Les nouveaux meubles de patio Ă  hauteur de bar donnent une vue fantastique sur la magnifique plage de sable blanc de sucre qui se trouve Ă  quelques pas de l'appartement. Il y a aussi un nouveau rĂ©frigĂ©rateur dans la cuisine entiĂšrement Ă©quipĂ©e. Il y a aussi une buanderie trĂšs spacieuse avec machine Ă  laver et sĂšche-linge. Toutes les chambres disposent de tĂ©lĂ©viseurs haute dĂ©finition Ă  Ă©cran plat. Ceci est un condo que vous voudrez retourner annĂ©e aprĂšs annĂ©e.

Great location

We loved the beach. The unit was nicely decorated with a large porch. The kitchen and baths are pretty dated. The master bed and bathrooms were a good size. Be warned that the bed is really soft. The bedroom with bunks is closet sized (no room for a suitcase) but the beds were comfy and there was a small dresser and TV. The kitchen was clean, but the two showers were not. Management was quick to respond to this situation. We appreciated the personal delivery of an important package to our condo.

Amazing vacation property

We are a family of 6 and it can be difficult to find vacation properties that comfortably fit our entire family. This property definitely fit the bill. We had stayed at another unit in Gulf Dunes last year so we had an idea of what to expect and it did not disappoint. The cleanliness was good, two minor complaints was some of the dishes had some food still stuck on and we found a sock under a bed that was not ours. Everything else seemed clean and fresh. The garbage shoot on each floor by the elevators was convenient for bringing the trash out and there was a broom/dustpan and vacuum to tidy while we were there. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook/eat during our stay. They had plenty of bath towels/hand towels/wash cloths. A minor complaint/recommendation for the management. Monitor the beach chairs better. There were many groups who took more than the 2 allotted beach chairs and several days we were not able to get chairs on the beach as they were ‘reserved’ by 9am, and spent much of the day with a towel sitting on them with no people around. Included were 2 rolls of paper towel, 2 packets of dishwasher powder, 2 rolls of toilet paper in each bathroom. Recommendations on things to bring: extra toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher soap, laundry detergent and dryer sheets, hand soap, spray cleaner and/or Lysol wipes. Salt/pepper/condiments/spices you will need. They had lots of extra coffee filters in the unit.

Great for families!

We loved our stay! The condo was clean and stocked with all the basic supplies. Maintenance was quick to respond to the chirping smoke detector and internet calls. We were given a new router within a couple hours after it couldn’t be resolved. We loved being right on the beach and having the beach service was so nice! The pool isn’t huge but was great for the kids when the ocean was too rough for swimming. 7 of us slept comfortably in the condo. We’d 100% recommend this condo and will be back again next year!

Awesome!!

The condo is just as described. The condo was spotless and was decorated very beachy (just what I was looking for)! The only thing I would change is to put blackout curtains in the guest bedroom and bunk room to block out the lights from the walk way. We took advantage of the Dolphin Cruise, and it was a blast! Next time I'll be going snorkeling too. It was a wonderful trip! Thank youđŸ–ïž

Ladies Trip Over Labor Day Weekend

I stayed here w/ a group of 5 ladies over labor day weekend. The room was very clean and had plenty of room for all of us. Access to the beach was close and very easy to get to. I would definitely rent this unit again.

Breathtaking view

This property did not disappoint! The view was stunning; with the sea oats, sand and ocean! We spent every evening in the deck. You can watch the fishing pier at night, it’s lit up. The sunrise and sunset, breathtaking! The condo was perfect for our family of 5, 2 adults and 3 teenagers. There was plenty of room for us to have our own space. The condo was equipped with everything we could possibly need. Overall it was a great experience. We would definitely stay at this property again!!

Great place and location!

This was overall a great place to stay! The only thing negative I have to say about it was the mattress in the guest bedroom was not comfortable at all. Loved the convenience of having a washer and dryer in the room! Location was definitely great! Only a couple of minutes from restaurants and activities!

The condo was very clean and the view was amazing. Sadly, the pictures were much nicer than the condo itself . There was a gaping tear in one of the chairs and all the furniture had water stains on it. I did make the manager aware of this right away. The bunk "room" is not a room at all nor something you should count on as useable space. It is so tiny you cannot even open the door all the way. A person cannot walk in and move much less two people. The ladder to the top bunk is not attached to the bed - it is laid up against it haphazardly. In a space like this the bunks would have better placed and more useable in the hallway rather than shoved into nothing more than a closet space. The master bed was not comfortable. Like most sleeper sofas, the mattress was thin and uncomfortable with crumbs all in it that we had to clean out. The kitchen counter tops were scratched and had a raised uneven seam between the stove and sink. The stove was an older one that had tin foil lining the stove eyes rather than the nicer glass top ones. I have stayed at many Brooks and Shorey resorts and they were absolutely amazing however this one fell short. I reported the latter complaints as well but not in enough time for them to do anything I was told. I was told had I of told them early in the week they "may" could have done something however a credit was not in order. Unless they would have moved me to a different unit altogether (which I doubt they could have the week of July 20-27) nothing else could have solved the issue. The condition of the condo is not in line with the rental price. I will still use Brooks and Shorey at their other properties I have frequented in the past but never Gulf Dunes again. I was overall disappointed.

Great place with minor issues

For ten plus years we have always enjoyed our trip to Gulf Dunes on Okaloosa Island, and this was no exception. We like the layout and convenience of Gulf Dunes. This year as in the past we traveled with 20 members of our family and had a great time. There are some issues that need to be brought to your attention: We were greeted with “oh by the way your cable service is not working on 3 of the televisions.” Well on the third day the manager managed to get all but one to function which was later fixed by the Cox rep. The internet WIFI service never worked properly (poor signal strength and kept dropping out) unless you plugged into the modem, this is strange because we could still get a strong signal from last year’s room. One of the chairs in the living room had a rip in the seam and if you turned over the cushion there was a large stain on the other side. When we opened the sofa bed it appears as though no one cleans under the sofa. We still made the most of our vacation and will still stay at Gulf Dunes

Enjoyed Our Time

Overall our experience was good. The property was clean, mattresses were comfortable, and chairs provided on the beach were nice. Because of the price I believe this condo needs some work- examples- Shower doors off track, refrigerator handle loose, must hold toilet handle down to flush, tv remote didn’t work in bedroom (battery acid visible), chairs stained and torn, etc. We did report the shower doors and it was fixed quickly.

Sisters vacation

This was a great location for a vacation with my sisters. The location is awesome. When we weren't on the beach, we spent a lot of time on the balcony. Wednesday night fireworks from the fishing pier were an added bonus for this great time with family.
