We love this property and have stayed here many times. We love the property amenities, location, and easy walk to the beach. Everyone has always been wonderful as well. The room was clean but the floors need a better cleaning, from the moment we walked in there was constant sand. I do realize with the beach comes sand, so it didn’t run our trip, just wish cleaning could have done a bit better. Overall, we had a great time and will be back in the future. The room was great, had plenty of room, and a nice view of the pool and the beach.

Fun Vacation Spot

This is a beautiful area to visit. The sand is white and soft, ocean water is refreshing, and the condo is in the best location. Restaurants, shops, and activities are all in walking distance. Cannot wait until our next visit!

Wonderful stay

Really nice place

This property fit exactly what we wanted
close to beach, close to pool and plenty of space. It’s somewhat hard to tell online, but the bunk room is completely private. My kids were thrilled to not share a space. My only complaint is that the pools were very cold at the resort, which made for little swimming since the beach had a double red flag most of the time we were there. Overall, we were very happy work this property.

We stay at the Destin West for our beach vacation every year and this was one of the nicest units we have stayed in there. It has updated furnishings and is a nicely appointed condo.

Destin West is great

I loved staying at the Destin West resort. It has great amenities, and it’s a wonderful spot for families. The view from this unit is nice overlooking the pool area. The walk to the pool and beach is easy! I was not pleased with the cleanliness of this particular unit. I also think this unit is due for a few upgrades (appliances for example.) We had a wonderful vacation, and we hope to visit Destin West again in the future.

Nice and convenient place to stay. Access to everything in walking distance was a big plus. Cleanliness of the condo wasn’t the best we’ve experienced, but otherwise it was a nice condo for sure.

Beautiful Condo with everything you need!

We came with our family in March 2021. We had our 3 tween/teen children, myself, husband and mother in law. This beautiful condo fit us well. It had everything we needed for cooking and enjoying the beach! The location is great and overlooks the main pool and jacuzzi and has great ocean view from the balcony. They even had extra beach chairs and a few boogie boards. We have stayed here before on the bay side and love that you can use all the amenities on both sides. My kids love the lazy river on the bayside! David was wonderful and was quick to respond to questions before and during our stay. Highly recommend this beautiful condo! The only thing I wasn't aware of was that not all pools are heated on the property. The week we went, the temperature was around 68-70 and the main pools were cold. In summer, it will be no problem! 😊

Beautiful view ....great resort amenities

to start I would def stay in this unit again. Here's my breakdown from beginning.... PARKING...Arriving there was easy to find. Parking garage has plenty of parking. Trouble we had was other guest tend to speed around the corner so be extra careful. There "stop" sign on concrete floor but some doesn't seem to notice. UNIT... this unit had plenty for space for my family of 7. Beautiful decor ...very bright and open. We had a few minor issue ...inconvenient but wasn't the end of the world. The dryer had made squeaky sound.. and living room light fixtures was only operating with one light bulb .i immediately email owner to which he replied within time frame...was told maint will be out to check. We arrive sat n maint didn't contact me till friday....the day before we left to come. Cleaness of the unit wasn't horrible but wasnt the greatest which is why I gave it 3 star. One room still had left over trash in trash can. Shower needed a good scrub ... PRO ABOUT UNIT...absolutely amazing view. If you happen to be there Wed during summertime u will get a front view firework from the balcony !! Unit is really close to elevator and parking garage. RESORT..amazing. plenty of pool to chose from. Lazyriver from connection resort is about a 5...10 min walk. Not bad at all. My son visit the fitness center and absolutely overwhelmed it. He felt it was safe and clean n had a lot of equipment he could use. BEACH... walking distance was pretty close however they have those umbrella so close together I felt like I was part of the next group family. We went down to reserve stay for 10 min or so n left due to crowd I would def book again....thank you for the opportunity

Great resort amenities with a beautiful view

We found this property to be conveniently located close to parking and the gulfside amenities within the resort. The size of the unit was very adequate for our needs. We did not even use the bunk room but can see it would come in quite handy for those with older children. The beach chairs/umbrella rental with the unit is a big plus. The walk across to the Bayside units and lazy river/pools on that side is quite a walk but that area of the resort is quite enjoyable. Upon arrival the unit appeared clean but had sand all over the floors. We realize that is is the beach and those things happen, and there was a broom so we swept up what we could. The dryer squeaks quite loudly, and sounded like there was a smoke detector going off. Its probably just a belt on the inside that might need replacing. The condos seem well insulated, are very quiet at night. The LED lighting in the pools was very pretty. The condo decor is very cute. Overall an enjoyable resort.

Great location and comfortable accommodation

We love Destin West Gulfside! The view of the beach and pool was beautiful. The beach is a short walk and the kids loved being able to walk the catwalk sky bridge to the lazy river in the bay side. The beds were comfy king size beds for the 6’5” men in the family, and the kids loved their bunk room. There were a couple of minor maintenance items in the kitchen and bathroom that need attention, but the local management company was very responsive and had great communication. The free beach service was great to have so we didn’t have to bring down as many chairs/umbrellas each day. Be sure to get in line early (8:30 am) before they open at 9 am so you can get a spot on the front row.

Wonderful unit with perfect views

Took a senior trip with my son and friend and her 2 boys The unit was Perfect . The beach was spectacular . Shopping and harbour just a short drive . We loved our vacation in Destin
