Welcome to Mermaid Tales #6- Bikini Bottom. This beautiful 1 bedroom offers a queen bed, ensuite with walk-in shower, also a sleeper sofa in the living room. The calming coastal hues decorated throughout assist in relaxation after a full day in the sun at the beach or around the pool. Curl up at the end of the day on the couch with a good movie. No need to dine out as there is a fully equipped kitchen available, or grab take out and eat around the table. Guests have access to the complex pool, shared washer and dryer, and other complex activities. Come make your favorite memories at Bikini Bottom.

Mermaid Tales is a multi-family complex that features 6 separate villas. Villas are available to rent separately or as a group. This complex shares a heated pool with a spill over spa, corn hole, and horseshoes are available for added entertainment. There are 12 beach chairs available for guests that are on a “first come, first serve” basis and are not assigned to any specific unit. The short walk to the beach is only 530 yards away. Times Square is less than a mile from the complex. Guests can find entertainment, shopping, and dining all within the Times Square area.

Area Activities:

Welcome to Fort Myers Beach! There are multiple state parks nearby that are waiting for your adventures. Jump on the trolley to take you south to the secluded Lover's Key State Park or go north to Bowditch Point Park. The Fish Tale Marina offers boat rentals and dockage for those wanting to get out on the water. Travel around the island in style in a rented Moke or golf cart. Trolley service is also available from Estero Boulevard to the Times Square area, the central hub of Fort Myers Beach. Several restaurants, shops, and bars have come back since the hurricane. If a day trip is what you are looking for check out the Key West Express for an unforgettable trip to Key West. Don’t forget to see Sanibel Lighthouse which is less than 15 miles away! Please note that the area is currently rebuilding after Hurricane Ian. Despite the changes, the island continues to get better and better, inviting you to bask in the sun, sand, and amazing sunsets once again. Had a short stay, 3 nights. Kitchen and Living room are remodeled and nice. Plenty of kitchen items, etc. Location is good and walking distance to night life. Internet TV only with a YouTube account. Living room TV was not logged into account, so that was challenging. Master bed is terrible - center is sunkin deep. We should have paid closer attention to previous reviews regarding the bed. Hot tub is only on from 7PM till 10PM and 2 of the days it was not hot and the other day it was greenish and noninviting. Broken chairs piled in back yard by pool. For the money, we plan on looking for other similar priced places next year.

Our unit was perfect and everything we needed. Location is a short walk to the beach and we were supplied with beach chairs and towels. Hot tub was a perfect end of the day treat.

Great Location, but the property wasn’t all it could’ve been

The location of the property was excellent, one block away from the beach & was also a central location for fun activities. The property itself needed a little love - there were holes in the walls covered up by electrical plates & tiny ants that had taken over the suite. The property says it comes with a washer but it didn’t work the entire time we were there (5 days) & I went to load the dishwasher for the first time halfway through our stay & that didn’t work either. You are also given ONE roll of toilet paper to get you through your stay no matter how long you’re there & you must buy the rest. I thought this was extremely greedy & really unpractical for guests since you can’t even buy toilet paper rolls that contain less than 5-6 rolls which would ultimately be a wasteful purchase. Overall the communication was good & didn’t smell dirty. Definitely needs some work.

Very nice little villa, it rained almost the whole time we were there so it was nice to have the extra space and not be stuck in a hotel the whole time. No one was in the other 3 units so we had the pool all to our selves which was nice. Had everything thing you need in the kitchen , plenty of towels. Would come again.

Great property, will go back.

We took a quick long weekend trip the house was great. The right size for two, the beach was a 10 minute walk. Places to eat and pubs walking distance. We get bikes and took them everywhere. Highly recommend the house and location.

Updated, clean, lovely pool

The property has been updated after hurricane Ian and is very comfortable. My husband and I stayed for 8 days in November ‘23 and were lacking for nothing. The pool/hot tub combo is very nice, the hot-tub was heated each evening. Plenty of towels and items in the kitchen. This is a shared pool, but there were plenty of chairs around the pool. Gas grille and cornhole too! Walking distance to the beach- 5 minutes is all. Quiet neighborhood but only a short drive to Times Square. To walk would only be 10-15 min. Will stay here again.

Home away from home

This stay was quiet but yet close to the action. We were able to walk to most destinations that interested us. Easy access to the beach. The place was equipped with everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We definitely recommend this if you wish to stay in Fort Myers Beach florida.

Good getaway!

We booked at the last minute so it was pricey, but we were in ft Myers beach! Bed so-so, needs some minor repair work (furniture, etc) but enjoyed our stay. Great location.
