Step inside to an inviting living space featuring large, comfy sofas, ideal for unwinding after a sun-soaked day. The fully equipped kitchen provides everything you need to prepare delicious meals, with dining options for four indoors and four more on the balcony, where you can soak in the sea breeze.
The serene bedrooms offer a restful nightâs sleep, with a king bed in the master suite, a queen bed in the guest bedroom, and two twin pull-out sofas in the third bedroomâperfect for accommodating friends and family. The master bathroom boasts double vanity sinks and a walk-in shower, while the guest bathroom features a convenient shower-tub combo.
Captain's Bay is a wonderful and welcoming community located in the quiet south end of Fort Myers Beach, just across the street from our world famous beach, and features resort amenities - heated pool and sundeck with lounge chairs, picnic area, BBQ grill. Island times are back again! You will find food trucks, restaurants and bars opened, live music, fresh "pink gold" shrimp, and all the natural splendor this tropical island paradise has to offer, including our world famous sunsets.
Take the short ride by car or the island trolley to the north end of the island to Old San Carlos Boulevard with loads of new restaurants (and some old favorites), food trucks, bars and Bayside Park. Also at the north end of the island sits Bowditch Point Park with its turtle walk and lively beach where all the boats pass on their way out to the Gulf. You can choose to go south to Lovers Key State Park, where you can hike along nature trails, canoe or kayak along estuaries and bicycle amidst the mangroves or further south to exclusive shopping centers in Bonita and Naples. Now open, Santini Marina Plaza will offer you restaurants, bars, shops and a marina, where you can rent a boat or kayak and explore the Great Blue Waterway and mangrove back bays! The island's major supermarket, Publix, is open, as is Snook Bite Marina with its two lively restaurants on the Bay.
There is a STRICT NO SMOKING, policy which has been implemented for the health and comfort of all guests and the owner.
We would like to note that there is still construction occurring on the island and the experience will be different than if you stayed on Fort Myers Beach prior to hurricane Ian.
