The Space:
Perfect for single travelers! Max occupancy is 1 guest; no visitors allowed.
Our apartment is uniquely designed. When you enter the loft, you'll immediately notice that you are not in your average cookie-cutter apartment.
Designed by Donald Singer, who had come to Fort Lauderdale in 1964 and built this four-unit Colee Hammock apartment building that is still regarded as one of the architectural highlights of the city. Its sleek modern lines and unique placement of a single oak tree in an enclosed courtyard for each unit is a marvel to behold.
The living area is very comfortable and clean, and it offers a workstation.
We have a queen-size bed and a small clothing rack.
The bathroom has laundered towels, hand towels and face cloths, soap, and shampoo.
We offer a mini fridge, Keurig coffee maker, toaster, and hot water kettle.
Note: the property does not have a washer and dryer, and the kitchenette has no stove/oven and no dishwasher.
There is a mini-split AC, and it can be set between 68 and 78.
Local attractions: the BEACH!, Las Olas Blvd, Intercoastal Waterway, Riverfront, The Broward Center of the Performing Arts, The Science and Discovery Center, Water Taxi, BB&T Center (for ice hockey and music lovers)
Other things to note:
**This is a private room in someone's home with independent access. Excessive noise won't be tolerated.
**Max occupancy at all times is 1. No visitors allowed.
**Security cameras on the exterior of the property for your safety.
Note: Receiving mail or packages is prohibited, and we are not responsible for items that are mailed or shipped to the property.
** We are pet-friendly, and there's an extra cleaning fee of $50 per pet.
**Some regular maintenance services are required to keep our homes in excellent shape. Be informed that we have regular landscaping service and pest control management that may come during your stay.
**Minimum Main Guest Age: 24
We use an integrated software that will give you access to our Guest Portal at Dream Vacation And Rental. It will send you messages with instructions and guidance through a screening process and contract, which are required to release check-in instructions. In order to ensure a worry-free stay. We have two options. One is a $500 refundable deposit or $49 non-refundable damage waiver. The deposit will be returned if no damages or violations (such as smoking) are found during your stay, and the waiver will cover damages up to $500.00.
*Note: The $49 waiver does not apply to same-day bookings or local guests.
Guest Access:
You'll have access to the entire loft, which includes a bedroom, full bathroom, kitchenette, kitchen, and living room.
The Neighborhood:
The property is located in the Colee Hammocks neighborhood. We are one block north of Las Olas Boulevard. LOB is a popular thoroughfare in downtown Fort Lauderdale that runs from Andrews Avenue in the Central Business District to A1A and Fort Lauderdale Beach. The boulevard is a popular attraction for locals and visitors, being ideally situated close to Fort Lauderdale beach, Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport and Port Everglades. It is considered to be South Florida's most architecturally unique, authentic, and eclectic shopping and dining district.
Getting Around:
Complimentary street parking is provided for those traveling by personal vehicle. Public transportation alternatives encompass local bus services, with conveniently located stops. Access to the airport is facilitated by Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL), which is approximately a fifteen- to twenty-minute drive, contingent upon traffic conditions. Ride-sharing services, such as Uber and Lyft, are readily accessible within the vicinity for convenient transportation.
