Ideal base to explore Fort Lauderdale.

However, due to Florida’s warm climate, high humidity, and the property's proximity to the water, it’s common for local insects, including the occasional roach, to make an appearance—even after our best efforts.



Most of the time, you might find them already deceased as a result of our regular pest control. While this is a rare occurrence, we believe in being transparent. If you’re particularly sensitive to insects and this could impact your stay, we suggest considering another option to ensure your comfort

The unit was cute, clean, well located & came with good basic essentials. However, immediate issues upon arrival: wooden door blinds were broken in a few spots allowing outsiders to see in; the bathroom street-facing window has no curtain, which allowed other to see into the bathroom; 2 TV remotes, one looked as if it was chewed by a dog & inoperable; no notice or instructions that the TV remote was for streaming & not Xfinity cable with the Xfinity remote; the electric cook-top was very difficult to operate as no instructions were provided; the garbage was overflowing when we arrived, smelled horrible for 5 days until it was picked up by sanitation; the clothes dryer was broken which forced us to go to a laundromat; the shower hot & cold faucet worked opposite. Overall, I'd give this a B since the issues could be easily resolved prior to our arrival and not waste 3 days of our vacation, making us feel like constant complainers.

Rocky start overall okay

Great neighborhood however there were a lot of random issues. We didn’t have hot water for 2.5 days and communication was not the best. The hot plate/stove top didn’t work until a handyman came to fix it on the 4th day of our stay. Host sent directions through email on how to use it so make sure to ask for those asap. Spotted a few bugs throughout our stay but that’s just Florida so no big deal.

I enjoyed staying here with my wife for a weekend wedding. The property was very conveniently located in the perfect area. The outdoor space was beautiful and the pool was great. It could have been a little cleaner in the kitchen and living room area, but we had a great time overall. We will be back.
