Stayed for a week in August. The first thing I noticed was that the property and unit both were not as well maintained and pristine as the pictures made it seem. In fact, the property was mostly unkempt and the unit was worn out and not exceptionally clean. It smelled as if there had been smoking in the unit previously and they tried to cover it up. Overall, the unit was kind of dirty, the baseboards were dusty, the floor gritty, the throw pillows were stained. The bed had animal hair (the cleaner said it was eyelashes; not any better) all over it. There was some sort of brown stain on the walls behind the headboard of the bed. The kitchen was tiny and in rough shape. The tiles cracked and everything old and out of date. There were towels but not a washcloth or a bath mat. There wasn’t hand soap. The air kept everything but the bedroom cool. The bedroom was like 5-10 degrees warmer at all times. I contacted the host about the uncleanliness and they were quick the first day. They came and looked but didn’t seem to be concerned with the state of things except the stained throw pillows. They sent the cleaning team who had not been fullyInformed of my issue. They cleaned. It was a little better. But really I went in and cleaned. I asked to be moved to a cleaner, more updated unit and we played phone tag until midway through our trip. At which point I decided I’d already been in there for days, so I decided to not move. It was not the best.

We came to fort lauderdale to catch a cruise, and weren't able to board. We made a week vacation at the blue parrot. We made a disaster fun, like turning lemons into lemonade as the saying goes

Doggy Daycare

It was a nice place but I wouldn’t bring my family back there. There were 4-5 dogs staying in the property and they would all bark and howl around the clock at each other. Some people had multiple dogs and others had giant dogs. They would bring them out on the pool deck. The furniture in our apt was full of dog fur. The pool was also very cold even though it says it’s heated, not true. Also people put towels out for chairs at 6am and not show up until 1pm which was a turn off. All in all a nice place but I would only come here if I had dogs and nowhere else to go. If you have a family, look elsewhere.

So weit ok, das Personal sehr nett und bemĂŒht. Ein Detail hat uns gestört: als wir vor Ort eintrafen bekamen wir eine mail, dass wir noch den Parkplatz bezahlen sollen. Pro Woche 100Dollar. Das hĂ€tte ich gerne vorher gewusst.

Property had everything we needed. Manager was quick to reply with anything we needed. We were aware there was a daily parking fee but it just seemed to be excessive. A car is needed in the area so basically it’s a given that you will have to pay the daily charge. Overall, we had a great stay

Good location and comfort.

Location is excellent. The staff saw to all our needs and responded quickly to any issues. Room was a little dated but clean and comfortable. Nice pool and amenities. We would definitely book again for an extended stay.

Such a great place !

We had an incredible week at the Blue Parrot condo rental! The location is perfect for walking, with entertainment options nearby, and the beach is absolutely fantastic. The pool added so much fun to our stay. The hosts were incredibly helpful and accommodating, making our experience truly special. We're definitely planning to come back – it's a must for any vacation list!

Business VBRO on a budget

This was a decent and adequate rental for traveling for business. The pool was a nice feature & addition. We adjusted to a few not ideal situations like the fridge layout being tight, smokers onsite at pool area - maybe posting NON-Smoking signs would help, but overall, it was a good accommodation & location for us. We utilized the grill and appreciated a full tank of propane. Bonus points for that! Laundromat on site too which was super convenient.

Second time we've stayed and many upgrades underway. The property is very clean and has everything necessary, full kitchen with appliances, sheets, towels, etc. and location is very convenient. Property manager was excellent.

Great girls trip get away!

Visited with 2 friends. The places was nice and affordable. The pool is nice and heated. The host was super kind and helpful and quickly resolved any issues. I would stay here again. They have a larger place out back in addition to the smaller apartments. This place would also be a good spot for a trip with multiple families. We were able to walk to rentable bikes and biked to the beach. There are restaurants, Starbucks, 7-11, liquor store and a grocery store in walking distances as well.

11 Days in Paradise

We traveled from frozen snow bound Minnesota to 11 days of 85 degree warm weather. This location is within a mile of A1A and the beach. Only 8 units and a heated pool. It is a great place to stay. The property manager made sure we had everything we needed. They are committed to even upgrading the facility in the future. We strongly recommend this property
