THE SPACE
Shaka 121 is a floor-level, waterfront unit with 4 bedrooms located in a cozy 4 unit building. Guests will enjoy this unit entirely to themselves! To ensure an easy check-in, all of our units are equipped with smart locks giving each guest access by entering unique reservation pin codes. For safety reasons, we do not provide detailed entry instructions until the day before your check-in.

*Please note that this property is one private unit in a 4 unit complex.

Our home sits in one of Fort Lauderdale`s most sought after neighborhoods, the Las Olas Isles. Shaka 121 is only a 4 min drive to Fort Lauderdale Beach and a ~20 min walk! There are plenty of places nearby to get cocktails, fresh seafood and soak up the sunshine.

IMPORTANT
Our home is nestled in a residential neighborhood. There are noise restrictions with quiet hours from 10 pm to 8 am. This is enforced by the city.

A gentle reminder, absolutely no smoking inside the property, no pets or parties allowed. A minimum fee of $500 will be applied for any violations of the house rules.

BUGS: As a reminder, South Florida is a humid climate year round, which bugs love. We pest control spray our properties on a monthly basis to prevent bugs and cockroaches as best possible. However, because of the South Florida climate, we can not guarantee that bugs won`t randomly appear. If they do, please let us know right away and we will address the issue immediately.

HURRICANE SEASON: June 1st- November 30th. We encourage all travelers who book during this time frame to purchase travel insurance that covers natural disasters.

This property is a smart house equipped with a smart lock, front door camera, sound bar & Bluetooth speaker. Guests can access the space with no contact check-in and will be provided a unique front door code that only they will have.

We won`t be available in person but are available via message, text, or phone at all hours.

Las Olas Isles are one of the most prestigious and safe neighborhoods in Fort Lauderdale with close proximity to Fort Lauderdale Beach and Las Olas.

1. If you are a local resident, you must contact us before booking.

2. Guest acknowledges that they will keep their noise level to a minimum after 10:00 pm sound will travel through the walls if too loud.

3. No parties or events allowed.

4. Guest must provide us with a valid working phone number.

5. NO SMOKING; guest acknowledges that no `smoking` includes the use of vape pens and marijuana. There will be a $300 charge per day of reservation if this rule is not followed.

6. Incense and candles are in the rental for guest enjoyment but please be cautious when burning and blowing out to avoid wax or ashes from damaging anything.

7. Please return games to their respective boxes and records to their correct vinyl sleeve after each use.

8. If you use the Fire Pit, please ensure that it is turned off and covered after each use.

9. Please clean & scrape the BBQ grill and Pizza Oven after each use. Unfortunately if neglected, an additional cleaning fee will be charged in order to remedy for our next guests.

10. There can not be any more than the allowed number of guests in or on the property at any one time, a violation could lead to a fee or the immediate removal of all guests without a refund. We will charge a $35 fee for every additional guest past the occupancy limit (10 people).

11. Late check-out fee of $50 (if not authorized) applies for check-outs after 11:00 am. We`re sorry we have to charge this but we pay our housekeepers based on the agreed-upon checkout time and if they are unable to clean we still have to pay them.

12. Guests who make reservations for over 30 days must sign our standard lease agreement and agree to a background check before check-in (it will be provided before check-in).

13. No unauthorized pets allowed. Additional cleaning fee will be incurred if there is animal dirt/hair in the house in order to remedy for next guests.

14. Please be cautious of the white furniture/rugs/bedding. Unfortunately if damages or stains occur during stay, guest will incur additional cleaning fee in order to remedy for the next guests.

15. Excessively dirty units will incur an additional cleaning fee and will be evidenced with photos If not following any of our rules forces us to refund or discount an upcoming or existing guest you will be liable for the costs.

16. For your security and protection the property is equipped with an exterior, front door camera.

Needs some TLC

We booked this stay for a bachelorette/ bachelor trip. The pictures look amazing on the listing. Check in was easy. The manager was somewhat responsive. The inside of the home was beautiful. They included cute touches like water bottles by the bedside and a bottle of wine. We were visiting as a group from different states so we booked with the intention of hanging out on the patio and utilizing the outside amenities. The outside needs a bit of TLC. It was very run down, dirty, and there was garbage, boards, a tv and other random things laying around. We ended up not utilizing these amenities because of this. It’s not far from the main strip but you need a car. The manager requested us to reach out prior to leaving a review if we weren’t 5 star satisfied, which we did. I messaged three days ago and didn’t receive a response.
