Prepare for a breathtaking lakeview dream vacation when you stay at the Horsetooth Retreat. This lavish mountain vacation home is nestled in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to miles of hiking and biking trails. Don't forget about Horsetooth Reservoir where you can spend the day boating, paddle boarding, fishing and so much more. From the incredible private hot tub views to the outdoor adventures, there is something for everyone at the Horsetooth Retreat.

Enjoy the privacy of this mountain retreat that overlooks Horsetooth Reservoir and is a short 2 minute drive to lake access. Motor boats, paddle boards and kayaks are available for rent at the marina. Watch for the families of deer as you drive up the dirt road to our private retreat. As you walk through the front door, you will feel at home with the fully remodeled interior. Spend winter nights in the hot tub watching the snow fall over the reservoir. Gather with your group in our large open living room area. Don't miss the large deck out back for your afternoon full of grilling steaks and enjoying a few of the local brews.

Three bedroom, two bathroom newly renovated reservoir retreat with hot tub and patio dining overlooking Horsetooth Reservoir and Fort Collins. The lower level is dedicated to the "Master King Suite". You will find a king sized bed, Smart TV and private bath including a large tub and shower. The main level offers two bedrooms. One furnished with a queen bed and the other with two twins. You'll have a restful night's sleep on the luxury bedding supplied with plenty of cozy blankets. With the fully remodeled kitchen, you'll enjoy cooking your groups breakfast or packing a picnic for the day's adventures.

If you are missing city life, don't stress. Just 10 minutes away you will find the vibrant city of Fort Collins where you can smell the beer brewing and nightlife come alive.

The home does have a semi-steep driveway and 4-wheel or all wheel drive is suggested. Garage is accessible to guests from the inside of the home.

- Take a hike up Horsetooth Rock to experience where this area got it's unique name.

- Blue Sky Trail is a 4 mile trail for hiking that runs through the foothills. You can access this trail at the bottom of the hill.

- Stout Market is your local convenience store for any last minute necessities..

I would recommend - the place was clean and easy to check in. The views of horse tooth are awesome, especially while soaking in the hot tub when the sun goes down. Great place overall.

I rented the home to stay while visiting family in Fort Collins. It was an easy drive to southeast Fort Collins and the perfect place to decompress and rest after full days with family. Definitely would stay there again!

Amazing location

This is our second time staying at this property with our family of 5. It's a quick drive from Fort Collins, but you feel like you are truly in Colorado wilderness. The property is incredibly clean, the views from the deck are incredible, and you can hike right out the door. I'm sure we will be back again!

Great VRBO with an incredible view

We stayed at the VRBO for a short weekend. The house was gorgeous and comfortable inside and had an incredible view. We watched the sunrise over the reservoir both mornings from the hot tub. We also hosted some friends for a dinner, and the space leant itself well to hosting and cooking. The check-in process and communication were top notch. I would absolutely stay here again.

Horsetooth Reservoir/ Fort Collins

This was a great property, with amazing views that we enjoyed every day and night. Relaxing in the hot tub and gazing at the stars and the city lights in the distance. Great location- 30 minutes to Fort Collins for restaurants and shopping. Great spot for hikes. Would like to come back in the summer to enjoy the water sports.

Wonderful vacation

This house was an amazing vacation for our family. We had an amazing time cooking in the big kitchen. The hot tub was wonderful during the cold weather. The master bedroom downstairs gave us just the perfect amount of privacy. The communication was great. We could not have asked for a better place to stay. From the views to the comforts.

Nice property

Very clean and modern. Temperature consistency was a little different and the upstairs shower and hot tub deck need some no slip tapes, but overall it is a very nice property. It is in a great location and has close proximity to a lot of things to do around Fort Collins. Would recommend and would stay a again.
