Our cosy and stylish holiday cabin offers a unique retreat or short break opportunity. The 6 x 3m cabin is perfect for two people, with a sense of space and good design. In a wooded area near to Redroofs by the Woods holiday cottage, and located next to farm fields, close to Balgavies Loch and Nature Reserve, and beside Montreathmont Forest. There is a sense of country calm and nature connection, but within 15 minutes of Forfar, Brechin and Montrose, with several small villages even closer. A perfect mix of country and town.

The cabin offers all the comforts of home in a compact and stylish space. Bumblebee and Barn Owl cabins sit next to each other in a wooded area, separated by privacy fencing. The cabins are a short walk down a lit gravel path from the parking area. In each cabin you will find a comfortable double bed, a well-equipped kitchenette, an en-suite shower room, a cozy table with bar stools for meals, and comfy armchairs sitting next to a small coffee table. Step outside to enjoy the fresh air and stunning views on your veranda with picnic table and chiminea. Each cabin is fully insulated and heated, ensuring a comfortable stay year-round.

Explore the beauty and tranquility of the cabins at Redroofs. Nature enthusiasts will be in their element here. This area is surrounded by stunning countryside, and there are plenty of walking trails close by including Balgavies Loch and Montreathmont Forest. Explore the lush greenery, breathe in the clean country air, and immerse yourself in the beauty of the local flora and fauna. If you’re looking for more to do, Forfar, Brechin, Arbroath and Montrose are just a short drive away. For golf enthusiasts, there are several golf courses in the vicinity. Dundee, Aberdeen, Perth and St Andrews are within an hour’s drive. There are award-winning, sandy beaches 20 minutes away; or going inland the atmospheric and unspoilt Angus Glens offer superb walking amongst the beautiful moorland colours and the scents of heather and grasses. Local village pubs and tea shops offer great hospitality.
