Criddlestyle Cottage - New Forest

The accommodation is for up to 10 people, with a large, split level beamed sitting/dining room with wood burner, patio doors to rear garden, 50" TV & DVD player. Comprehensively fitted kitchen with a ceramic hob & double oven, microwave, full height side by side fridge and separate freezer, dishwasher and washer drier.



There are 5 bedrooms within this New Forest Holiday Home.

Bedroom 1 has a king-size double bed and possible en-suite bathroom, bedroom two has a double bed, bedroom three has adult sized bunk beds, bedroom 4 has a double bed and possible en suite wet room suitable for the less mobile and bedroom 5 has two single beds and an en-suite shower room.



Criddlestyle Cottage can also be booked with Mews Hill (sleeps 11) or the Riverside Lodge, (Sleeps 4) both of which are separate and set within their own grounds. Each of these properties also has a glamping pod (sleeping 2 respectively) which can be hired out with their respective property and would afford accommodation for 29 people in total. You are also able to hire "Jessica" our vintage VW Bay campervan which is suitable for 2 adults and 2 young children but is available in the warmer months only.



There is also exclusive private fishing on the Hampshire Avon.

80 yards of exclusive private fishing on the Hampshire Avon only a few hundred yards from the house. There are 4 good swims suitable for specimen coarse fishing. £75 per person per week. Please note that day tickets can be obtained for the immediately adjoining Sandy Balls 1/2 mile stretch of the river.

Additional facilities

An adjoining 2 acre paddock and stables for two horses is available on a DIY basis if you wish to bring your own horse at £100 per horse per week. The paddock adjoins a bridleway which gives access to the National Park.

Extra sleeping accommodation in our VW Camper van “Jessica” which can accommodate up to 2 adults and 2 small children (in the summer months only).



Bike hire available in Fordingbridge

There is a 4 - 6 person hot tub available to hire at £325 for the weekend or midweek break and £400 for a week stay.

Pets are charged at £40 each per stay

Towels and bed linen included

High chairs, stairgates and travel cots supplied on request - please, bring your own cot bedding.

Charcoal barbecue available, please bring your own coals.

First basket of logs free then £7.50 a bag thereafter.

A £250 refundable security deposit is charged to ensure against damage.



A wonderful welcome pack is provided which includes a bottle of Prosecco, New Forest Spring Water locally produced Tutti Fruity Jam, Biscuits, Milk, Tea & Coffee*. There is also a Discount Go New Forest card which can be used locally to provide discounts (when used with participating businesses). * Contents may vary.



Bookings are Friday to Friday for 7 night stays, Friday to Monday for weekend stays, and Monday to Friday for mid-week stays.
