Arniss Lodge is a 3 bedroom Lodge boasting a superb location with direct access to the New Forest that has breath-taking views of open countryside. It’s open plan layout accommodates 6 + 4 (additional en-suite bedroom annexe that sleeps 2 available to hire as well as a charming Shepherds hut that sleeps 2) guests making it the perfect base for friends or families to come together to enjoy the New Forest. The Lodge is in the quiet hamlet of Godshill accessed down a private lane and sharing it’s enviable position with a working riding and livery stables.

The Lodge is a single storey property with a large open plan lounge with skylights and beams with wood burning stove, a dining area which comfortably seats 8. Off this living space are 2 bedrooms. The small hall come utility area leads to the family bathroom and with modern kitchen. Facilities include two Smart TVs with Sky, WiFi throughout. Through the kitchen is a futher double bedroom with en-suite shower room.

Outside there is a BBQ and patio are with seating for 8, private gardens, fully enclosed dog proof paddock and ample parking. 4 to 6 person hot tub available to hire. EV Charging now available please ask for details.

Beautiful walks and cycle routes are all literally on the doorstep, with deer grazing in the surrounding fields. There are two pubs and cycle hire within walking distance. The town of Fordingbridge is a short drive away with supermarkets, shops and a selection of pubs and takeaways.

A wonderful Welcome pack is provided including a bottle of Prosecco, New Forest Spring Water locally produced Tutti Fruity Jam, Fudge, Biscuits, Milk, Tea & Coffee. Also a discount Go New Forest card to be used locally which can provide discounts when used with participating businesses.

One acre paddock available to bring your own horses at £150 per horse with direct rides out into the New Forest and is adjoining an existing equestrian facility.

Facilities and Services: Oil fired central heating and electricity included. Travel cot, 2 high chairs (but please bring own cot bedding), dogs welcome, paddock enclosed for dogs. Garden with patio and barbecue area. Bookings are Friday to Friday for 7 night stays, Friday to Monday for weekend stays, and Monday to Friday for mid-week stays.

There is a £250 refundable security deposit to ensure against damage, pets are charged at £40 each

Whilst it is walking distance to amenities such as Sandy Balls it is advisable to hire a car to get the most from the area. Alternatively cycle hire is available from the town.
By Car:
From Salisbury: take the A338 south to Fordingbridge and Ringwood. Bear left off the A338 at the main exit to Fordingbridge. The exit slip road turns back to a T-junction with the old Southampton Road.
From Ringwood: take the A338 north to Fordingbridge and Salisbury. Take the exit to Fordingbridge the exit slip road ends at a T-junction with the old Southampton Road.
