Romantic apartment close to Palazzo Vecchio

In the area of Piazza della Signoria and Piazza Santa Croce. At the second and unique floor (NO elevator, one flightn of stair with 14 steps) in Via Vinegia n. 2, a small and very quiet road in a pedestrian area, this lovely and particular apartment has been completely restored and decorated with taste and care for any expectations you may have.

We personally own and manage this apartment and the unit beside (the Francesca unit, ref. 8669907) you'll always be checked-in by one of us and we'll be avaialble for you any time for any question, help or need you may have..

Please take note our check in time is from 3 pm to 8 pm ON APPOINTMENT, no reception is available all day long
For check in after 8 pm to 10 pm we charge 30 euro
We do not accept check in after 10 pm


Both apartments belong to an ancient bulding dated back to the XIV century and share a private entrance from the road, in front of the magnificent stonewall of the medieval S. Remigio Church, in one of the oldest and most famous area of Florence.

The units can be booked togehter becomig a unique property and can accomodate up to 10 guests.

The location is so central that you can easily get back home any time of the day for a quick rest or a bite and go out again to visit this magnificent city.
With all kind of shops just around the corner and Piazza della Signoria at 1 minutes walk, these property are really in the centre of the centre!
With some of the best restaurants, ice-cream, fresh pasta, street food an coffee bar just around the corner you'll be able to enjoy your staying with no efforts trying to find out where you can have the best ice-cream of Florence!!

The Simona apartment has a master bedroom with a large queen bed, a twins' bedroom, a dining area with the kitchen and a large table that can comfortably accomodate up to 5 guests. The sitting room is provided with a large couch that can be transformed in a large single bed for a 5th guests, two bergere chairs, table coffee and tv, a full contemporary bathroom with a shower completes the interiors.







History and leisure: The entire historical centre of Florence has been declared World Heritage by the UNESCO and Via Vinegia is just in the middle of it! All the major sites are within walking distance: Piazza della Signoria and the Uffizi Gallery, Ponte vecchio, The Duomo, The magnificent church of Santa Croce: everything is just around the corner.
And if you like to try the very best food you have a choice of restaurants and, most of all, you are at 10 min. walking from one of the oldest and most famous market in Florence, The Sant'Ambrogio market where you can buy the most exquisite traditional food.. and as far as ice-cream is concerned, Vivoli (the most famous one) is at 3 min walking
Via de Neri, the road at 20 mt from Via Vinegia is full of all kind of shops: groceries, take away, chemistry, fruiters, ice-cream, bakeries, mini market, bars, laundry...
Anything you may need is just around the corner

Car: The centre of Florence is closed to car with specific rules. We suggest you NOT TO ARRIVE WITH A CAR if you can. You won't need (and you won't be allowed too) to use it during your staying in the city.
Florence is on the main fast trains line that connects all the main italian cities: Rome, Milan, Naples, Bologna.. on this line trains run every 20/30 minutes and the rides are definetely much shorter than a car trip.
Also from Venice fast trains are available and a train ride from Pisa airport takes only 1.10 hour..
So if you plan to take a car just to reach Florence we strongly recommend to check trains instead.

But in case you should have it, we will be glad to give you all the informations you may need for entering and parking in this area.
