Great place for a couple!

Smaller apartment with a few amenities. You are definitely centrally located in Florence to many sites and restaurants so no need for extra cost of transportation.

Great location but apartment was disappointing

The apartment is in a great location but is not being maintained well at all. The key to the front lock sticks so badly, one day we spent nearly 20 minutes unable to get in. Multiple issues inside, broken toilet seat, broken patio chairs, the kitchen stove still doesn’t work because there is not a lighter. There are no paper towels, kleenex, dish towels, or dishwasher pods. There was one roll of toilet paper and when I inquired I was told we could buy more down the street. The front entry step is in need of repair and the shower has not been properly cleaned in quite some time. What looks in the pictures to be a cute outside area is just sad and run down. It was unfortunate because it was obviously a charming apartment when it was being cleaned and taken care of. The property manager just provides excuses. Now looking back at other reviews they are not interested in improving.

Darling, well-stocked apartment near everything

We had everything we needed, coffee, tea, tons of blankets, pillows, towels. Loved the little staircase and outdoor area. Best of all, less than 20 min walk to the train station 😍

Improvement Recommendation: Request sufficient supplies: our experience , there were no paper towels, insufficient toilet paper and the lighter for the stove never worked. Top step in apartment needs to be repaired adequately to prevent tripping or an accident.

Great location, disappointing experience

Location was great. Outdoor space very nice to have. Overall not well managed. Done through a third party. Never met anyone in person. Could have been cleaner. No light working in the building hallway to apartment which felt uncomfortable. Turns out there was a missing key. The minute we all left the apartment at the same time, someone got into the apartment and went through all our stuff and stole money. The owner expressed terrible remorse about it and has promised that the locks were being replaced.

Lovely stay

Cozy, charming apartment with a small outdoor terrace in central Florence. Everything was as listed and the property manager was communicative and responsive. We checked in late and initially could not access the property because the code provided was incorrect. We were worried we may have to find another place to stay the night because of how late it was, but the property manager responded within a short while with a corrected code. We appreciated the late response. Note there was a small wall-mounted AC unit which is typical for older apartments; if you need higher-capacity AC, this may not be the best option. That said, It was relatively hot during our time in Florence and we were perfectly comfortable with the setup. All in all, this property was great for our stay and we would recommend it. The location is perfect and the terrace is a big selling point - lovely to sit outside to relax and unwind. The only reason we have it a 4 is because of the incorrect access code and bumpy check-in. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

Perfect location/ beautifull courtyard/ matresses need to be changed

This stay would have been a 5/5 if it wasnt for the quality of the two matresses that absolutely need changing. At that price one would expect a good night sleep. Otherwise, location is PERFECT, so close to everything yet so quiet. The outdoor space was unbelievable. Some small details were forgotten ( lighter to light the stove was broken so i had to go buy one and left it there! One of the two coffee machine ( bialletti) doesnt work( the one with a broken handle ) so could do with being removed. And please pretty please, at that price invest in good matresses so people can have a good night sleep after a long day on the go.

We loved staying here! It was perfectly located in the heart of the city. Only a 4 minute walk to the Duomo and lots of shopping and restaurants all around. This was the perfect location to stay to explore the city! And the host was very responsive and helpful. I definitely recommend this place!

It was not as bright and airy as suggested in the pictures. We could not use the stove for 4 days until someone finally gave us the correct instructions; the owner was unwilling to give us any credit for our wasted time, effort, and money. The clothes washer worked, but the front was rimmed with mold. There was standing water in the coffee maker and unemptied grounds. We had to buy more toilet paper and paper towels the 2d day of our 8-day stay. The outdoor patio was nice, but it was so brutally hot throughout our stay that we were unable to use it. Overall, it was okay, but not really professionally maintained and ultimately not worth the price paid.
