Comfortable private space

This place is quiet, private, and comfortable. It’s very convenient to get to both Northampton and EastHampton. It had everything we needed for a two-week stay, including working remotely. All doors open to the fenced yard or secondary entry, making it very secure for traveling with a dog. It’s also one of the cleanest short-term rentals we’ve rented. Sean was great to communicate with.We’ll definitely stay here again if we need a place in the area.

Perfect long term stay!

This small house was a perfect place for me and my dogs to stay during my trip to Western MA. It is quiet and convenient to shopping, restaurants etc. The fenced yard is very big and perfect for my two dogs to run and play. Full size kitchen with disposal and dishwasher made life easy. Great stacked washer and dryer in the bathroom. Would definitely stay here again!

Great location just minutes away from downtown. We brought our dogs and the fenced in yard was a huge bonus. Also plenty of dog friendly hiking locations nearby. The house was really nice and well kept.

Good location for our needs.

We are retirees that needed a place to stay while our new townhome is being completed. This worked for the two of us plus our 25 lb. dog. As others have said in the reviews, the stairs are difficult, especially if you have any kind of mobility difficulties. There are stairs when you enter the house into the garage, and then steep stairs going up into the unit. There are stairs outside going from the deck down into the backyard, which are very steep as well. The backyard is fenced in, but there are many gaps around the fence that a little dog could get through, so be very careful. Also, the property is large, and the mowers show up once a week unannounced, so don't leave your dog in the backyard. Be sure to check the gate when they leave, as I found it to be open every time they finished and left. The house is on a very busy street, so you need to be very careful if you walk your dog on a leash in the front, or if you have small children. It is a straight road, and people go much faster than the speed limit there. State troopers do patrol and ticket speeders which is good, so be careful in that area. We never met our host, but he responded to messages quickly most of the time. This rental is a good place especially for visiting the various colleges in the area. It is very easy access to all the surrounding towns and cities.

Peaceful, dog-friendly stay outside Northampton

My wife and I booked Sean's property for a week-long stay through Thanksgiving with family nearby. We loved it as a place to bring our dog and relax, thanks to its fully fenced back yard, king-size bed, and nice kitchen with modern appliances. It also comes with parking for two cars in a garage. Word of caution: The stairs might be difficult for older people and dogs, and it's a bit drafty on cold nights. That said, we were pleased with our stay and gladly will look this property up again when in the area. Thanks!

Just what it needed to be

Stayed here while visiting my daughter at Smith College. Apartment was well-located near everything we needed, clean and roomy. Didn't bring my dog on this trip but can see that it would be well suited for a future visit.

I wasn’t expecting a full flight of stairs to get in to this place. If it was in the description, I missed it. The garage door didn’t open but I found the other garage door opener and was able to access the home through the garage. The home is beautiful and clean but didn’t work so well for me because of the stairs.

Bring your dog!

Near the wedding venue + comfortable place to rest + huge yard for our dog to sniff = perfect for us We have a slightly anxious dog who is difficult to board because of her fear of strange people and dogs. We decided to test run bringing her with us for a short wedding weekend. The place was perfect. No rugs and sparsely decorated so we didn't have to worry about her deciding to mark anything or chew anything up. We also didn't have to worry about her guard barking bothering anyone because the neighbors' houses are far enough apart. It's also just a super cute place, even if youre not bringing a furry friend. We would definitely book again.
