The wine apartment is a large apartment located at the first floor in a historical building. It was renewed in 2014, and it has all the major attractions in a walking distance so it is an ideal base for whom wants to explore the heart of Florence.

The apartment is located in Oltrarno zone, in a very quiet area. It is really close to Piazza del Carmine and all the major attractions.


The apartment is located at the first floor, there will be 25 steps before the main entrance.
For check in the house manager will wait you at the apartment. For late check in we will organize a self check in.

The wine apartment is a large apartment of 110 smq located at the first floor in a historical building in Borgo della Stella. It was renewed in 2014, and it has all the major attractions in a walking distance so it is an ideal base for whom wants to explore the heart of Florence (it is 2 minutes walk from Pitti Palace and Ponte Vecchio). At the entrance there is a large dining room with a table that can accomodate up to 8 people, and on the right the fully equiped kitchen (dishwasher, oven, fridge and freezer, microwave, coffee maker etc.).
There are 2 big double bedrooms and 1 bathroom. The living room is modern with a bedsofa (for 2 people), TV and 2 big armchairs.
The apartment has also a very quiet balcony with a table for about 4 people.

Bel appartement spacieux et trÚs fonctionnel, trÚs bien situé.

SituĂ©e prĂȘt du centre historique , cette location est trĂšs agrĂ©able pour ses volumes, l'amĂ©nagement moderne et complet ,sa dĂ©coration soignĂ©e.Nous avons sĂ©journĂ© Ă  cinq , l un d'entre nous dormant dans le canapĂ© convertible du salon (correct). trĂšs lumineux.l La personne qui vous accueille est particuliĂšrement sympathique et disponible pour faciliter votre sĂ©jour .( prĂ©-rĂ©servation de billet pour visite,suggestions ,adresses., reservation de taxi..) A noter nĂ©anmoins , des soirĂ©es musicales animĂ©es dans un club ,juste au rez de chaussĂ©e sur rue que l'on entends depuis l'appartement . Nous conseillerons cette location Ă  nos amis.

Les points positifs: - appartement spacieux et fonctionnel, dĂ©coration rĂ©cente claire, sobre et de bon gout - trĂšs propre - literie confortable - cuisine bien Ă©quipĂ©e - pas de nuisance sonore - accueil agrĂ©able et rĂ©activitĂ© d'Eleonora - la plupart des monuments et musĂ©es sont Ă  proximitĂ©, de 10 Ă  20 mn Ă  pied Les points nĂ©gatifs - salle de bains curieuse, toute en longueur, avec douche peu pratique - escalier raide pour monter les valises, pas d'ascenseur - peu ou pas de vue sur l'extĂ©rieur - si vous ĂȘtes en voiture, c'est dans la "no traffic" zone, il faut la mettre dans un garage payant ou la laisser loin. Au bilan les points positifs l'emportent largement, je recommande vivement cet appartement et le louerais Ă  nouveau sans hĂ©siter.

Court sélour à Florence dans ce bel appartement situé à Oltrarno. Grand appartement, confortable et fonctionnel. Conforme à nos attentes. De plus beaucoup de restaurants se retrouvent tout prÚs et servent une nourriture différente de la " bouffe à touriste". A recommander.

A lovely apartment in Oltrarno

We loved it. A few years ago we stayed in a much busier area but wanted a more peaceful place for our second visit to Florence. This flat was perfect, quiet with a balcony to sit on outside. We had enormous amounts of space, although we actually spent most of our time in the kitchen or outside on the balcony. We were close to everything we wanted to do this time, including the Boboli garden and the excellent choice of restaurants in Piazza Santo Spirito (which also has a market on Sundays). Special praise fo Tamero, restaurant. Everything in the flat worked including the washing machine and we could dry our clothes outside. The kitchen worked, and had a full range of implements. The bathroom is a little odd as it's laid out as a corridor, with the toilet at the end, and several little steps (you get used to them). We would stay here again and recommend it to our friends.

Excellent Location Quiet Street

First of all, I should have remembered from my high school French calls that the first floor means the second floor for us Americans. This means a flight and a half of stairs with heavy suitcases. I wish they mentioned the number of steps in the apartment description. The location was perfect. Close to our favorite restaurants, Il Latini and Trattoria la Casalinga. Two bridges over from Ponte Vecchio. It's on a small one-way street so the Uber van we got had a difficult time picking us up. Schedule your transportation ahead of time as we had a hard time finding a taxi and barely made our train. The house is nicely appointed with a full kitchen which we never used. The main bedroom had AC and was nice and bright. The second bedroom had only a skylight for natural light. The AC in the living room serviced the second bedroom and the rest of the apartment. We made use of the patio which was up a short flight of steps. The bathroom had very good water pressure and plenty of hot water. The shower was a good size for Europe. The toilet had very little space in front but was fine.

Wonderful property in a quiet area

We had a great stay in Florence. The apartment was wonderful and very spacious. It’s in a quiet area of Florence which is so nice to get away from the crowds and feel more local. Everything is in walking distance. Check in was very easy and Elly was great. She’s very helpful and gave great suggestions for sights and food. The apartment has everything you would need even a washer. Would definitely stay there again.

Perfekte Lage, perfekte Wohnung

Im Viertel Santo Spirito, am Oltrarno, stauen sich die Massen nicht. Hier lebt man ruhiger, aber ganz nah an tollen Bars, Cafes und Restaurants. Auch ist man zu Fuß in 1/4 bis höchstens 1/2 Stunde an allen Orten, die man sich so ansehen mag in Florenz. Besser gehts nicht. Die Wohnung isr gerĂ€umig, freundlich, sauber und mit allem eingerichtet, was man sich wĂŒnschen kann. Hier hĂ€tten wir es gerne noch viel lĂ€nger ausgehalten!

Walk to everything

Spacious apartment

Lovely spacious apartment, immaculately clean, and better than the photos portray! Located a 15 minute walk from the train station, and within walking distance of all the main attractions, with a supermarket 2 minutes away. Meine fĂŒnfköpfige Familie (drei erwachsene Kinder) verbrachte die Woche vor Ostern in Florenz. Zur Wohnung: Lage: in ruhiger Seitenstraße, sehr zentral sĂŒdlich des Ponte alla Carraia, zum Dom 15 Gehminuten, zum Palazzo Pitti 5 Gehminuten. Sehr gerĂ€umiges Appartement mit toller Ausstattung: KĂŒche mit Gasherd, Mikrowelle und SpĂŒlmaschine; Bad mit zwei Waschbecken, Dusche und Waschmaschine, kleine Dachterrasse Kontakt mit Vermieter: Eleonora und Francesco antworteten absolut prompt auf meine Nachrichten. Sehr netter Kontakt, Eleonora gab uns auch am ersten Tag ein paar Insidertipps. Das Appartement und die Gastgeber kann ich nur wĂ€rmstens empfehlen. Ich wĂŒrde dieses Appartement jederzeit wieder buchen.

Careful attention to detail

The place is spacious and lovely...water was hot... appliances in good order...great kitchen...wonderfully clean....for an older person (we are both over 75) the 29 marble steps leading up to the unit may be tiring after a long day galavanting through the richness of Florence. It is important to consider getting your suitcases up and down those steps... However, I doubt that those steps would prove daunting for younger people. And it definitely IS a beautiful and quiet unit!
