Start your next vacation and step into The Ponderosa Moon, a contemporary 2-story cabin with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (3 beds - sleeps up to 6 guests) near the heart of Flagstaff. Our modern and freshly furnished home, the perfect option for all seasons, is central to many of Northern Arizona’s varied activities.

THE SPACE:
Our uphill driveway makes for a grand welcome and leads to our cedar cabin with a two-car garage that has been converted into a game room. Foosball, darts, and a pool table will keep the whole family entertained. The large wraparound deck is the perfect stage for morning coffee, an afternoon glass of wine, or dining alfresco. Several Adirondack chairs provide an inviting place to sit and watch the wildlife or relax with a good book.

An ideal retreat awaits within the walls of this bi-level home. The social centerpiece of the upper level is the open concept living room and kitchen. The dining table and large island provide plenty of space to gather for meals or playing games. A large picture window in the main living area allows for views of the pines and brightens the space with lots of natural light.

Using a neutral palette the decor is a stylish combination of modern and vintage with a nod to southwest history. Many of the original pencil and watercolor drawings on display were created by a family friend.

The 2 bedrooms on the upper level both have queen beds. A streamlined desk in the east room can be utilized for remote work or studying if needed. The bedrooms are separated by a newly renovated bathroom with a walk-in shower and large vanity.

The lower level has a 3rd bedroom with a queen bed and cozy reading nook. Before heading upstairs you will find a den that is stocked with books, puzzles and board games. The bathroom on the lower level has been newly updated and is equipped with a tub and shower combo.

GUEST ACCESS:
Our kitchen is well stocked with cooking supplies, bakeware, and utensils. Stainless steel appliances include a refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, and microwave. We have an electric tea kettle, an electric Ninja coffee maker, and a French press. We supply paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap, dishwasher pods, hand soap, ground coffee, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.

Newly installed LEVEL 2 - ChargePoint Home Flex Electric Vehicle (EV) Charger. 50 Amp, 240V, Level 2 WiFi Enabled EVSE, UL Listed.
Uses a universal J1772 connector 23-Foot Cable.

Ponderosa Moon is situated on a quiet street within the Kachina Village neighborhood amid the tranquil pines, nature trails, and wetland habitat. A nearby playground and basketball court are just a short walk from our cabin. You are approximately 9 miles from the many amenities of Downtown Flagstaff. A 10-minute radius includes grocery stores and major retailers as well as the NAU campus and Flagstaff Airport. Nearby you can explore the natural beauty of Snowbowl and the San Francisco Peaks (23 miles north). Sedona is 30 miles away and the Grand Canyon National Park is a 94-mile drive. Fort Tuthill County Park (Flagstaff Extreme Course, bike park, trails, picnicking, etc.) is 5 just miles away. Other local attractions include Lowell Observatory, Flagstaff Arboretum, Wupatki National Monument, and Walnut Canyon National Monument.

We are approximately 2 hours from Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport.

• Only the person booking and their guests disclosed at the time of booking are allowed in the home.

• Minimum age requirement of the guest booking is 25.

• No parties or events.

• The home is not child-proof. Young children and infants are not advised.

• No pets allowed.

• No smoking inside or outside at anytime.

• Fireplace is not in operation.

• No A/C. We have ceiling fans in every bedroom and additional portable fans available.
