Do you love all the essentials of home but don't want to have to pay a fortune to enjoy the outdoors? Well, this is the place! Stargazing in northern MI from the comfort of your real bed inside a beautiful 16 foot skygazer tent. Enjoy C&A Adventure’s glamping experience on the banks of the North Branch of the Manistee River, a 30-minute float to the main river; this spot offers privacy, peace and quiet, and nature up close.

Please read the entire description. This is a camping environment. We offer an amazing Glamping experience, i.e., glamour with camping. Therefore, please be aware there will be a 10-second to 1 1/2-minute walk to your site. This is camping that includes trails with wood chips and solar lighting (as described below).

There is only one site on our property.

When you book, we will send you a welcome message with all the same information listed here. Within 24 hours of your stay, we send you our location and instructions for check-in. These instructions are VERY important as they include pictures and very detailed directions to ensure you know where we are located and, more specifically, which site is yours. We have two single sites and one double site


The tent is equipped with pots and pans for cooking, paper and plastic ware, cooking utensils, glasses, a percolator, towels, clean, fresh sheets, cleaning supplies, one gas grill, a grill for the shared campfire, a chimney seating area, hammocks, and many other essentials!

This very large site will offer your group lots of space to roam and enjoy the beauty that surrounds this awesome glamping setup! Take the opportunity to take a nap on one of the many hammocks around the property, take a walk along the trails, fish the stream, kayak the river, and any other outdoor adventure that fancies your style! Your group can enjoy the cornhole set up at the site, cook a delicious camping dinner over the open fire, and relax by the swings and chiminea at the banks of the river! This site is truly unique, so enjoy the beauty that surrounds this amazing site and discover what nature is like in the true north!

Inside the large four-season tent, you will find a full regular bed outfitted with warm blankets for the cool summer and cold winter nights. The two cots will be equipped with a warm sleeping bag.

There is a common bathroom/kitchen facility that offers a full bathroom for your use and a kitchen area where you can wash dishes! The facility also has an outside shower. There is electricity that guests can use for charging phones, and other electronic devices. PLEASE NOTE: There is NO ELECTRICITY at the sites ONLY at the Common Bath/Kitchen facility (centrally located on our 8-acre paradise). There will be access to power outlets in the facility.

Solar lights line our trails, common areas, and camp areas to help navigate the night and early morning strolls to the river. Flashlights and lanterns are also provided to help you navigate when walking, as we don’t want too much light pollution in nature!

Take advantage of the sunrise/sunset at the river. The common areas provide amazing backdrops for those memorable photos of your unique stay! See more “Other Things to Note” below.

We also have the ability to rent kayaks and provide transport service for kayaking trips as we are available - please ask!

Please note cell service is limited. There is no electricity at the tents, but you can use the common bathhouse to charge your phone if needed.
