Blue Ribbon Cabin

Experience riverside living just 5 minutes from downtown Clare in this spacious home. Enjoy the warmth of a fireplace, bask in the natural light of the sunroom, and make yourself at home in the full kitchen equipped with everyday supplies. Wifi, Netflix, and Hulu is also provided for your convenience. This retreat offers a perfect blend of comfort and tranquility along the riverbank.

This home sits on a large yard along the river. The Tobacco River is known to have blue ribbon trout, which is where our cabin got its name. The river stays pretty shallow throughout the year, however we still recommend keeping an eye on children and dogs as there is no barrier. Inside you will find plenty of space for relaxing or entertaining. There are two living rooms, two seating areas, two bedrooms, a sun room, dining room, and full kitchen. Our goal is to provide all the comforts of home, yet still have you enjoy your getaway.***exterior security cameras present***

The cabin was a great place to find some peace and quiet. Even though it is on a main road, there is not a lot of traffic noise. The cabin was very clean and well stocked. It matched the description perfectly. Beds were comfortable and the two fireplaces were much appreciated during the very cold mornings!

Was a really good stay. My friends and I really enjoyed the place and still had a fun time even with the Michigan Weather putting the power out. It was in a very good spot and was close to the city with good bars and food places.

We stayed for my daughter’s wedding and it was perfect! Hosts were readily available if needed. They had lots of little treats and anything you needed at the house. Scenery was beautiful. I only wish we had more time to enjoy the views

The Pere Marquette State trail is a nice trail to ride either way. We have two reverse recumbant trikes that require some set up and the garage made it so much nicer to leave them ready for riding all weekend. It's too bad the bridge over the river on Harrison Avenue South of Ludington Drive is not there. It would be easier than the 1500 feet to Bever Avenue to get to the trail. The water by the screened in porch was a nice relaxing feature. The Deerfield Nature Preserve by Mt. Morris was very nice to hike along the river. very quiet.

This property is very beautiful and smells as amazing as it looks. We truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely book again! The driveway was a bit hard to find at night but with the pink trashcan being at the road, we never missed it so that was very helpful! The river in the back and the yard is beautiful. We were able to watch the deer drink from the river each morning! Check in and check out are very simple and the host provided every amenity possible (Paper towel, toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, snacks, doggy treats, air mattress, lots of extra blankets and pillows). And the gas fireplace is so cozy. I can't say enough good things. Thank you to the host for allowing us to book! We will be back for a much longer stay very soon!! *Also very close to a Dollar General and grocery store in Clare, MI.

This cabin is spacious, clean and perfectly decorated. We were visiting for a family wedding and had 4 adults staying at this property. We had plenty of spaces to relax and the beds/baths were clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend this property!!!

Great place!

Overall we really enjoyed our stay! The house was nicely decorated and the owners arranged things thoughtfully.Unfortunately the weather was hot and it rained a ton but that’s the one thing you can’t plan for. Haha The AC unit was having a difficult time keeping the inside of the house comfortable but again, that’s because it was so hot outside.

Family Wedding Weekend

Very spacious, clean, and the location was perfect. Loved that it had 2 bathrooms made it much easier for all that stayed. Loved walking out to the creek....so peaceful! Had a wonderful stay and will rent again if in the area.

Host was amazing and a great communicator. The description of the house matches exactly in person. Plenty of room for famlies. So much room!! Very clean. Would likely stay here again when visiting famlily friends in the area. Pets were welcome.

Beautiful decor! The keypad on the front door wouldn't lock and the only doors that locked was the sliders. Nice coffee bar but only enough coffee for one pot😭 the toilet seat for the primary bathroom was broken. We would have liked more big bowls and a hand mixer for making mashed potatoes.

Amazing house!

We very much enjoyed our stay. Myself and family needed a place to stay to visit our grandma in the nursing home. They were great with us, made sure we would be comfortable. Even got us an extra air mattress since we needed extra space for our big family. The pictures dont do this property justice! The house is gorgeous and theres plenty of room for everyone. Never had one issue our entire stay. Great place for your family! Would recommend and stay again if needed.
