Swanpool View - a house that sleeps 8 guests in 4 bedrooms
Friends and family can enjoy a fabulous coastal escape at this contemporary and luxurious four-bedroom retreat overlooking Swanpool in Cornwall. Ideally located in one of the most scenic areas along Cornwallâs coast, this wonderful home has huge, glass-fronted living and far reaching views over Swanpool and the Atlantic.
The open plan layout of the lounge creates the social epicentre of the property, with plush furnishings, on-trend lighting and sapphire blue sofas accenting the stylish space. Set on the first floor to capitalise on the magnificent views, there is barely a corner of the room from which the ocean is not visible. A high-spec kitchen in a modern gloss finish is the homeâs culinary hub and is fully equipped to make meal preparation and entertaining a breeze. Leading out from the dining area is a gorgeous furnished balcony with far-reaching views over the Atlantic, and we think itâs the perfect spot to enjoy sundowners once the children are in bed. Arranged on the lower ground floor are two large en-suite bedrooms including a master suite that has its own dressing room. Doors from both rooms open out on to a large, private terrace and are fabulous for flinging open on warm summer evenings. The spacious family bathroom as well as two twin bedrooms are located on the ground floor and together with the other bedrooms provide ample sleeping for a group of eight guests.
Situated on the outskirts of Falmouth, Swanpool is a salt-water lagoon that is separated from its pretty beach by a shingle sandbar. At its northern end is a small nature reserve that provides shelter for a number of bird varieties in the area while the sand and shingle family-friendly beach has its own café as well as water sports equipment and kayak hire. A great place for novices and pros alike to enjoy a variety of water-based activities, Swanpool is also situated right on the coastal path providing plenty of opportunity to explore the beautiful natural surroundings of the area.
Falmouth itself is home to an array of shops and eateries, and for those who fancy a round of golf, Falmouth Golf Club is just a short distance from the property.
We ask our guests for a ÂŁ200 security deposit, pre-authorised against your credit card. This is in case there is any damage to the property during your stay. The money is simply reserved and then released afterwards if there is no damage. We will contact you nearer the time of your arrival to arrange this.
Please note that in close proximity to Swanpool View, there is building work taking place which is visible from the property. A drain is being redirected next to the property, a retaining wall erected and installation of a path as well as further fencing and landscaping. There will be noise disturbance. Machinery should be leaving the site on 18th August which should mean after 18th August, there will be less disturbance. The work should be fully complete by end of September.
