This spacious home offers a comfortable, open-concept layout perfect for families and groups. The main level features:

* This home is located in the Central Rockies at approx 9,675 ft elevation. Please be advised that elevation and weather should be considered when deciding if this location is appropriate.
* Guests are required to have a four-wheel drive vehicle with adequate snow tires or chains during the winter months from November through May. The area is subject to frequent unpredictable and adverse weather conditions which can make travel difficult.
* This home is located in a rural high alpine mountain environment where wildlife, insects and rodents may be encountered.
* Guests will be required to sign a vacation rental agreement after booking.
* This home is pet friendly. We charge a $50 fee for each pet, and all pets must be approved. This fee is not included in the quoted rate, and will be charged after the booking is confirmed or the day of arrival on the reservation.

Beautiful, well appointed "home away from home!" We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Red Hill House. Plenty of space, comfortable beds, everything we could possibly need, lovely decor, stunning views, lots of fun to be had in the basement with board games and the pool/ping pong/air hockey table. Dishwasher and clothes washer/dryer were so nice to have! Fun hike up the back hill. Great location for our day trips to Colorado Springs (Pike's Peak, Garden of the Gods, and Manitou Incline!), exploring Fairplay, a beautiful hike at Hoosier Pass, hiking near Buena Vista, and what may be a hidden gem at Limber Grove Trail - we had the whole place to ourselves! Amazing location for booking a ride at Platte Ranch, which we attempted to do when we had a few minutes to spare, but it was last minute and they were already booked. So many adventures to be had while staying at Red Hill House!

Super-Comfortable!

We had a super-comfortable stay here! Centrally located for awesome mountain hiking, quick access to anything needed in Fairplay, and convenient for a visit to the comprehensive historic South Park City. Highly recommend and we’ll gladly stay here on any return visit!

Nicely appointed cabin with spectacular views of the Continental Divide. Great access to both Breckinridge and Buena Vista. The 3 full baths were a plus.

We stayed here over New Year’s with our 3 kids. They said they never wanted to go home! Overall, the place is extremely well stocked, cozy, well laid out for families with kids. Would definitely stay here again.

What an amazing place!! I loved the decor and the kids enjoyed the downstairs set up for some fun…game table and board games . The adults enjoyed the wonderful view off the deck! The driveway lights really helped locating the right place at night!

Good moments!

I particularly enjoyed renting this house, I looked a lot before renting and it met my expectations. We spent 8 days as a family. The house has everything to accommodate a family well, in winter rent a car with 4 wheel drive. I recommend!

Great views, cozy living - perfect retreat!

A real getaway just outside Fairplay, CO - the Red Hill house offers beautiful mountain range views nearly wrapping around the house with a private, quiet location on the side of the bluff. The large stone fireplace and comfy couches gave us the relaxing mountain home feel we were looking for. We were able to do video conference work during the week and enjoyed the game room. The interior feels brand new and has much attention to detail. Will go again!

5 stars! Spectacular location looking over mountain ranges and the river and valley below. House is warm and cozy with stone fireplace, new beds & quality furniture. We are able to feel like we really got away yet were not too far from town for supplies. Plus, work video conferences were perfect with the high speed internet! Family game room offered a lot of fun too. Wish we could have stayed longer! The retreat that has it all!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Red Hill House! We were amazed when we went into the home at how beautifully appointed it is. Beautiful furnishings! You get the most majestic Mountain Views through the large windows! This home is comfortable and we felt very relaxed here. It is clean and well taken care of. We had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. It is close to the town of FairPlay for groceries, etc. We would highly recommend Red Hill House for a quiet getaway in the mountains!!
