Walk Through The Home With Us

As you arrive, follow the gravel driveway up to your private carport, offering easy and convenient off-street parking. From here, step inside and begin your journey through this spacious and character-filled two-storey home. Upon entry, you’ll find yourself on the ground level, but to truly experience the heart of this home, head straight upstairs to the main living area. As you ascend, you’ll notice the natural light spilling through large windows, drawing you into a bright and open space where comfort meets style. High, pitched ceilings with exposed beams and timber ceiling panels create a warm, inviting atmosphere, echoing the natural surrounds of the Otways just outside.

To the left, a fully equipped kitchen is ready for anything—from laid-back brunches to big family dinners. The generous island bench provides plenty of prep space, as well as a casual spot to chat over a glass of wine while cooking. The kitchen comes complete with good appliances, including a fridge, oven, dishwasher, microwave, stovetop, and a DeLonghi pod coffee machine (compatible with Nespresso pods – please bring your own). Whether you're whipping up a home-cooked meal or enjoying takeaway from a local favourite, everything you need is at your fingertips.



Opposite the kitchen, a large dining table comfortably seats all guests, making it a perfect place for long, leisurely dinners or late-night card games. Surrounded by windows, this area is flooded with natural light and can be opened up to let the fresh coastal breeze flow through. Ceiling fans throughout help maintain a comfortable environment all year round.

Beyond the dining space is a cosy and welcoming lounge area, featuring plenty of seating, a flat-screen TV, and a wood-burning fireplace for chilly evenings. Whether you're watching a movie, curled up with a book, or simply soaking in the tranquil surroundings, this is a place to truly relax. For warmer days, a split system air conditioner keeps the space cool and breezy.

Step out onto the elevated deck and immerse yourself in nature. You're perched among the treetops with stunning views of the Otway Forest and even glimpses of the ocean through the trees. There’s an outdoor dining setting and a BBQ—perfect for al fresco meals in the fresh forest air. It’s a serene and peaceful setting, ideal for slow mornings with coffee or winding down at sunset with a glass of wine.



Heading down to the split level of the home, you’ll find Bedroom 1, Bedroom 2, the main bathroom, laundry, and direct access to the backyard. Bedroom 1 features a queen-sized bed, large built-in robes, a ceiling fan, and portable heating. Extra blankets are provided for your comfort, and a sliding door leads directly into the main bathroom for added convenience. There’s even a highchair available for families travelling with little ones. Bedroom 2 is designed with children or extra guests in mind. It features two sets of single bunk beds, built-in robes, a ceiling fan, and a portable heater—perfect for cosy nights in.



The main bathroom is simple and functional, with a shower, vanity, and toilet. Tucked away nearby is the laundry, hidden behind sliding doors, where you'll find a washing machine, airing rack, and a few handy extras. There’s also a separate guest toilet, making this level even more practical for groups and families.



On the lower ground level, you'll discover a second, more casual living room and the master bedroom. This space is ideal for children to play or for guests who prefer a little extra privacy. With its own TV, comfortable seating, and portable climate control, it’s the perfect second retreat. Open the blinds and you'll be greeted by the calming views of the surrounding bush garden, enhancing the feeling of being tucked away in nature.



The master bedroom is a peaceful and private haven. It features a queen-sized bed, ceiling fan, portable heater, a walk-in robe with extra blankets, and a lovely ensuite complete with a shower, toilet, and vanity—everything you need for a restful, self-contained stay.

There are some great beaches to explore in Aireys/Fairhaven and of course Painkalac Creek if you're wanting to paddle board, kayak or fish.



Getting Around:

Getting around Fairhaven, Victoria, is generally done by car, as the town is small and public transportation options are limited. The Great Ocean Road, which runs through the town, provides easy access to nearby areas such as Aireys Inlet, Lorne, and the surrounding coastal spots.
