Frontier Lux 2 Bedroom

Come experience the interior of Alaska at our luxurious place! This is a fabulous quiet neighborhood on the east side of Fairbanks. Our place is a 2-bedroom upper apartment. We are close to several restaurants and a short drive from just about anywhere in town. Hiking, fishing, golfing, skiing, and more are only a few minutes’ drive. The apartment has a fenced-in front yard and a barbeque grill available on the front porch.(not for winter use).
This is an 1000 Sq. Ft apartment with a smart TV, and free Wi-Fi. We have a fully equipped kitchen, and laundry area with a washer and dryer. Bedroom 1 has one king bed and bedroom 2 has one queen bed. Guests will have access to the entire apartment and the front fenced yard. We are within walking distance to a local park with a swing set, play equipment, picnicking area, and ball fields.
You will have access to the whole apartment. We have a security system that allows us to view the outside of the property if there are issues. Secure key-less entry allows guests to remotely check in with us. There is one parking space designated for the rental unit, with street parking available for extras. This is a unique well-built older building with 3 units total. There is one other short term unit in this building, and one full time tenant downstairs that has an adorable new family. Please be respectful of them and our neighbors. We have good relationships with our neighbors and prefer to keep it this way!
We will be available via text or call and staff are close by if we are needed on the property. Quiet hours are 10PM- 8AM.

Clean property with great space for a family

We enjoyed our stay at this property and our overall trip to Alaska. This place is easy to get to. We were pleased with the property. Everything was clean and you can't beat being right near everything. We'd stay here again!

This is a great place to stay. Inside is unique and clean. Maybe not good for rowdy children or adults for that matter but we had no issues. I would stay again.

I had to book last minute due to my original booking being canceled and I’m so incredibly thankful. This place was so cozy and welcoming! The host communicated excellently! There are doors blocked off and locked that divide the home for separate bookings and the one I booked was the upper level! I loved the homey feeling. The property is located in the downtown area, not far to walk along the river and read about Fairbanks, the Morris Thompson Visitors Center and restaurants. You do need a car to go other places.

The living area was clean and very comfortable. It would have helped to have some of the light switches labeled as there were many. The shower was nice however it was weird not having a covering over the window even though it looked out on a roof. It was nice to have coffee available. We had an issue with smoke in the house the first night but after speaking with the host, it did not reoccur. Our biggest concern was that the neighborhood felt sketchy.

The property would be ok for maybe adults for a quick stay but for a family in summer with no air conditioning was way too hot. The neighborhood also was not very desirable. Inside was clean and nice to have laundry available but we ended up leaving early because it was way too hot to be comfortable. The owner did try to help by bringing fans but still not comfortable enough for the price.

Great weekend

We had a great time. The apartment was just as advertised. The AC in the living room was great as it was over 80 when we arrived after berry picking all afternoon. Only downside was parking was limited to one space and we had two cars. Street parking was difficult.

Quiet, Convenient and Cozy

My husband and I stayed at this great rental with our three grandkids and daughter and son in law. There was more than enough room for us with the three bedrooms and spacious bath. The convertible couches in the living room are a nice touch for an afternoon nap after playing soccer all day. Jenni is responsive and the rental is clean, well stocked with linens and in a central location. The window AC units and fans are a benefit in the summer! We couldn’t have asked for more!

Well kept house just a block from the park and a few easy walking blocks to many breweries, restaurants, shops, and fun things to do. House is well equipped.

Fantastic stay!

I came to Fairbanks for a few nights with a group of friends and we had a great time staying here. We were able to cook meals, do laundry, and walk into town very easily. We were even allowed to drop our bags at the house early when our rental car fell through. The house is very clean and comfortable and we definitely recommend it to anyone traveling to Fairbanks!

Comfortable apartment in great location

This was a great place for my group to stay for a long weekend in Fairbanks. It was comfortable and perfect for our situation. The proximity to downtown was ideal, and we were easily able to get everywhere else we needed to go.

We enjoyed our visit. The property was very clean and comfortable for our family. We had a hiccup at the beginning trying to get in, but the hostess was helpful. The property had dishes enough for our family in the kitchen and it was easy to get groceries and make simple food while we stayed.

Very comfortable

We enjoyed our stay! The area is an older part of town, but the interior has been nicely upgraded with new carpets, bedding and linens. Giant TV! Kitchen was stocked with coffee and creamer which the early risers in our group really appreciated! Had a little trouble with the door locks initially, but host, Jenni, was very helpful!

Very close to downtown and had 3 rooms, as listed. The place was very clean.
