This unit is part of the Solitude Cabins community of 45 mountain cabins. The shared hot tub at Solitude Lodge is a few minutes` walk and closes strictly at 9pm.

Check in is 4pm or later, check out is 10am or earlier. Early check-in available for a small fee but cannot be reserved until 24h before arrival and only if cleaning schedule allows.

Wildlife frequently visits the neighborhood - secure all food and never leave anything in vehicles. Bears, elk, and deer are common visitors.

Perched ideally near Lake Estes and Rocky Mountain National Park, you`ll find yourself minutes from both serene lakeside walks and epic mountain adventures.

The cabin`s vaulted ceilings and dramatic windows frame spectacular views of the Continental Divide, creating a living postcard that changes with each passing hour. From your private upstairs deck, watch the alpenglow paint Lumpy Ridge in shades of pink and gold. The peaceful wooded setting, complete with mature ponderosa pines and natural rock formations, provides a true mountain escape while keeping you connected to all of Estes Park`s attractions.

BEDROOMS

Upstairs Bedroom: King suite featuring an en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower and spacious closet. Enjoy your morning coffee on the private deck overlooking Lake Estes and Lumpy Ridge. Includes smart TV and ceiling fan for comfort.

The Solitude HOA is a quiet neighborhood of vacation cabins near Lake Estes, just a few minutes from downtown Estes Park. This is a peaceful, family-friendly resort community. It encompasses 45 standalone cabins, a main lodge with 7 hotel-style rooms, and a meeting space/gathering area. The grounds cover 9 acres and back up to wild forest to the east, so wildlife frequent the neihgborhood. Lake Estes has a great walking path around it and is about a 5-10 minute walk from the property. Solitude is only a few minutes by car to downtown Estes Park.

You will need a car to really enjoy your time in Estes Park, though the town`s free summer shuttle does have a stop in the Solitude neighborhood. That shuttle runs from July to September and will take you to downtown, and from there you can take other shuttles around the Estes Valley.

NO SMOKING, NO FIRES

This home was a few miles away from one of the largest forest fires in Colorado history a few years ago. This is now a strict no-smoking property. No smoking inside, outside, and no outdoor fire pits (now illegal in Estes Park`s vacation homes). Charcoal BBQs are banned. Gas is OK.

ROAD CONDITIONS

Estes has a great plow team and our parking area will also be plowed during storms, but if there`s a huge blizzard, they may not be plowed exactly when you need them to be. We cannot assist if you get stuck and we always recommend that people rent AWD or 4WD when visiting us from October to May. We are at 8,000 feet and this can be a snowy area!

Like nearly all homes in Estes Park, there is no air conditioning. Evening breezes coming off the mountains cool the home quickly.
