Charming Getaway on the Banks of the Madison River



Relax and enjoy the breathtaking views from this charming riverside home on the famous Madison River. The river is a stone's throw from the spacious deck, which offers expansive views of the Madison Valley. Although there is no direct access to the river from the house, you can find numerous fishing access sites within a few miles of the house. The main house can hold up to 6 guests, and an additional smaller cabin behind the main house accommodates two more guests.



The Master bedroom has a King bed and a large bathroom with a walk-in shower. There is a sliding door that leads out to the deck, which overlooks the river and the expansive Madison Mountain Range. Bedroom 2 holds a Queen bed, and Bedroom 3 has two Twin beds. All three bedrooms in the main house have views of the river and mountains. There is a bathroom in the hallway with a tub/shower combination. It is centrally heated and equipped with ceiling fans. It is only a five-minute drive to the charming town of Ennis, where you can find shops, groceries, and numerous restaurants.



There is an additional rental located less than 20 yards from the main house. While you can not see the river from the cabin, it looks out over the center of the property, where the deer love to graze, and there is a beautiful space for outdoor games. It can accommodate 2 guests and is perfect for extra guests who would like some added privacy. The cabin offers a beautiful open space with a King bed, bedside table and lamps, a chair with a footrest, a dining table with 2 chairs, a microwave, a small refrigerator, and stylish rugs. There is a small kitchenette with a coffee maker, a toaster oven, and a sink. You will also find a nice bathroom with a shower/tub combo here. The cabin is equipped with a wall heater and a ceiling fan.

The Madison River in southwest Montana is possibly the most famous river in the state, known for its spectacular scenery and exceptional fishing. Both wild rainbow and large brown trout can be caught year-round on the 180-mile-long river. The Madison begins its descent in the western region of Yellowstone National Park, at the confluence of the Firehole and Gibbon Rivers, and makes its way north through the Madison River Valley before reaching and joining up with the Jefferson and Gallatin Rivers to become the mighty Missouri River. From the 50-mile riffle in the Upper Madison down to the more tranquil flow in the river’s lower reaches, anglers can find numerous places to enjoy casting their fly.

Ennis is approximately 60 miles southwest of Bozeman and 70 miles northwest of West Yellowstone. Ennis lies on the eastern side of Madison County in the Madison River Valley. A vibrant community of approximately 1,000 residents, Ennis features year-round outdoor recreation and an authentic, western atmosphere.
