Jimmy was nice when messaged however the house itself was not well maintained. Before my stay, I was excited about the trip so I looked up the address. The house was bought only a few years ago in 2022 and the realtor video/photos made everything look amazing. I knew there could be changes since then but the VRBO listing photos were similar. By no means am I writing this to say this was a terrible experience because it wasnât. However, I did feel that it was necessary to mention that for it only being 3 years, the upkeep is severely lacking (in my opinion). The property was beautiful from afar but when up close, it was disappointing. I asked in advance if the pool was heated (since our visit was mid-October) and was told it wasâŠwhich was our reason to book this specific listing. I was disappointed to see from a paper in our room that the pool & hot tub was only open for a short period. Hot tub only being on/heated between 5-8. The jets did not work and made odd sounds. The weather was in the mid 70âs but the pool temp was extremely cold and unbearable. The pool & hot tub were not filtered or chlorinated properly. I expected a little debris like leaves but the water as a whole was gross. There were missing tiles and other things that had not been kept up with. If youâre just looking for a room, the room itself was great but if youâre more interested in the 6 acres of outside property, itâs still quiet and peaceful but there will be things that need to be overlooked.
