Guests have full access to the entire home, garage, deck & backyard. Only the owner’s closet (upstairs bath) & basement utility closet are off-limits. Parking is easy—2 cars in the garage, 2 in the driveway.

While driving is easiest, Ellsworth offers a few great transit options:

Downeast Transportation:
- Buses to Bangor, Bar Harbor & more. Local Ellsworth shuttle runs Tues/Thurs/Fri.

Island Explorer:
- Free seasonal shuttles to Acadia trails, beaches & towns (mid-June–Oct).

Taxi/Shuttle Services:
- ABC Taxi, Acadian Cab, Bangor–Bar Harbor Express.
- Uber/Lyft: Sparse in Ellsworth, especially off-season. Good to prebook or rely on taxi services

The home is located at the end of a private driveway. Please drive slowly as there are children nearby. Park in the driveway or garage. The home is a quick walk to the Ellsworth Rail Trail and a short walk to several, wonderful restaurants, shops and breweries in downtown Ellsworth.

Experience peace of mind with our top tier sanitization and safety precautions. Your wellbeing and safety are of paramount importance. Rest assured, all areas of the house, including bedding and linens are sanitized after each use. Smoke detectors, Carbon Monoxide detectors, and gas detectors are located in designated locations in the property and are checked routinely. Fire extinguishers, hero blankets and a safety kit are available at designated locations in the home. Emergency escape ladders are available in each of the second-floor bedrooms. Please note, this property has point of use hot water, meaning the hot water can get very HOT. Please use caution and gradually make the water warmer before use.

The main steps leading from the driveway to the upper area are made of natural granite. Because of this the steps are uneven. A custom handrail has been installed for guests to use when walking up the steps. If preferred, the lower door next to the garage may be used to access the game room, which has stairs that lead to the main living area as well. Both the upper and lower doors use the same pass code.

- Quiet hours between 9PM and 8AM
- No pets, parties, vaping or smoking indoors
- Child-friendly gear is available upon request (crib, pack 'n play, highchair, games, etc.)
- Fast Wi-Fi for remote work or streaming
- Do not climb on the stone retaining wall
- Please extinguish the firepit after each use. A hose, next to the deck can be used to extinguish the fire. Firewood is available at several local stores.

To enhance security, the exterior doors and garage door are equipped with exterior Ring cameras, solely monitoring outdoor areas without invading your privacy. Please note, these do record audio and video. A noise monitoring device is installed in the first floor living area. This device only monitors sound levels and does not record audio.
