Perfect stay in Elijay

We really enjoyed the house. Everything went smoothly. It had everything we needed. The location was great for us to explore the surrounding area with quick day trips. The fire pit area was fun. There were a lot of deer running around too.

Quick Getaway weekend

We had a fantastic stay at this quaint mountain cottage over the holiday weekend! The place was absolutely adorable—charming decor and very clean. The location was perfect, just a short drive to downtown Ellijay, yet nestled in a peaceful, scenic area. The owner was incredibly communicative and responsive, making the entire process smooth and stress-free. We felt right at home and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy retreat in the mountains!

Great Mountain Cottage

This is a very cute and well appointed mountain cottage. Me, my wife, and college age son stayed here while visiting family for Thanksgiving. We didn't use the neighborhood amenities, but they seemed very nice. A pleasant and relaxing spot for sure.

Thanks so much for sharing your lovely cottage with us. Being so close to town was a huge plus. Was still remote enough. Ellijay was fun and the wine country was beautiful. Blue Ridge was awesome and so close. Will definitely come back soon.

Visiting the local vineyards

Great place to spend the night while visiting the local vineyards. The house was easy to find and we felt safe since it is in a gated community. We loved being able to use the gas fireplace on a cold and rainy afternoon. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen well appointed. It was very close to downtown Ellijay as well as several vineyards.

Perfect Stay!

We had such an amazing stay in Ellijay. We only stayed for one night but wished we had booked the whole weekend. The place is so adorable and Julie was so easy to communicate with. She was extremely responsive and truly made our time there so special. Would absolutely recommend to family and friends.

Weekend at the Cottage!

Beautiful cottage in the mountains! A little scary driving up the mountain to the cottage as there are a couple of roads that are 1 lane: but nothing we couldn't handle. As soon as we arrived the property was full of deer. We saw them every morning and evening! Enjoyed Ellijay (5-10 mins to most of everything in Ellijay) and only a short 25 min drive to Blue Ridge. House was extremely clean and cozy!! Loved the electric fireplace and the outdoor firepit! Only thing I would recommend is more comfortable living room furniture. I would definitely stay again!

Birthday Celebration!

We had spent the day in the Ellijay area visiting wineries to celebrate a family birthday. Prior to arriving at the The Dream Catcher Cottage, Julie had already communicated how to access the cottage and gated neighborhood. Upon arriving, my family was very impressed with the exterior and continued to be impressed upon entering the cottage. Very clean and organized! It's also located in a very quiet gated neighborhood. Unfortunately we could only stay one night but we had a wonderful stay! Thanks Julie!

Perfection

This is the perfect little get away in the woods. The drive up the mountain was perfect for us Florida flat landers. Once we got to the cabin it was exactly what we hoped for. It was absolutely beautiful inside. You can tell the owners take pride in their property. It was fully stocked with everything we needed. It was a very good central location to surrounding cities and things to visit. I would definitely book this property again!

After Christmas Getaway

Julie had clear communication with us as soon as I booked the property, the day before, when weather was bad, and during check in. We LOVED the cabin. Also loved that this property is part of a gated community, so everyone had to be added to the list in order to enter. Big plus for us. The cozy decor and feel of the cabin continued through to the bedding - I love when there’s a comfortable bed, pillows and blankets- they make me feel at home. One of the most exciting part for me was the deer that visited the property every night and sometimes in the mornings. :)
